Is anybody liking the make up job on Joseph Gordon-Levitt? I still can't make up mind as to whether or not it actually makes him look like a young Bruce Willis.

"It's better than anything I've ever done," Willis told Esquire.

"Rian did an amazing thing," he continued. "He conceived an original story. He wrote it, sold it, stuck with it, directed it, and finished it. That's just tough to do in this town. Someone always weasels into the process. That didn't happen here."

Gordon-Levitt has also said that Looper represents some of his best work as an actor, insisting that he really transformed himself for the role.

I'm not really sure Joseph Gordon would grow up to be Bruce Willis. On that note, CatwomanTheDarkKnightRises, will you marry me?

personally I think Bruce is just in full blown marketing mode, however he might be saying it's the best not because the movie itself is great but because there were no outside influences hampering the creative process. It might have been just a breath of fresh air for him to work on this movie

The plot synopsis on Wikipedia sounds like it was written by the Writer/Director himself, 'cause it makes no gorram sense whatsoever.
Why are they sending people back in time for assasins to kill? Why not just kill them in their own time? How does the guy get paid? Couldn't he just strike a deal with the victim to use his/her knowledge of the future to get rich in exchange for sparing his/her life?
laughterman26 - 5/24/2012, 7:21 PM

Catwoman, and all this time I thought Bats was just on the run from you trying to chase and face his homophobic fear of The Joker. And Batman wouldn't get married!
BJD - 5/24/2012, 8:45 PM
@Giznad&CatwomanTDKR: I want to be in the wedding party!
Jollem - 5/25/2012, 1:58 AM
i'd bet a dollar it's probably gonna be a good movie

Wow. Looks pretty cool. Although, in the still JGL looks only slightly like Willis; in motion, he just likes JGL.

However, in the V.O., he definitely has Willis's speech pattern and inflections down perfectly. (But the vioce itself still just sounds like JGL.)
