Batman and Wolverine are two of the most popular superheroes around, and we've watched them beat people up for decades. One's the world's greatest detective who can fight anyone who challenges him, and the other one is the best there is at what he does... if you know what I mean.

But if they fought each other, who'd come out on top? Batman's brain and strategic skills allow him to out-think any opponent, no matter how tough, but could he beat Wolverine? And Wolverine is the best, toughest fighter out there, at least when it comes to street fighters, and he has his mutant healing factor and unbreakable claws. But would he meet the same fate as all the other so-called unstoppable adversaries Batman faces on a regular basis?

Well folks, how about YOU decide. Vote in the poll below and see what happens!

Batman or Wolverine. Who do you think would win?

batman would leave Wolverine tied up looking like a bitch. And once Bats learns that wolverine can't die, i think bats would open up and be able to not hold back. well lets just say watch the [frick] out ... unfortunatly for wolverine who is an amazing badass mofo.

If Batman can beat Superman, he will beat Wolverine too.

Wolverine's a badass on paper, but a lot of guys had got the best of him.

A better fight would be Wolverine versus Metallo.

Initial fight, Wolverine. Batman learns an opponents weak points and how to exploit them. Wolverine's weak points are as viable to someone who has no clue who he is. Both are skilled fighters, but Wolverine has decades more experience than Batman. Also, Wolverine has no qualms with killing his opponent right of the bat (pun intended..nevermind, that was a corny pun...no pun intended).

But give Batman time to study before this test, he'll ace. Fighting stronger, faster, and highly skilled opponents is something he does well when time is on his side to plan out an attack.

@THEGODDAMNSUPERGUY very good example of this, Batman without planning, Batman is still just a man. If Batman has time on his side and time to plan, we'd see more of a Batman Superman encounter from the Hush storyline.

maybe, batman with time isn't godlike, but he's pretty dangerous. Yes, Superman in Hush was holding back during that fight, but that doesn't change the fact that batman was ready and superman was going for blood, it would of still been a fight he wouldn't of easily taken. With the kryptonite laden sewers to taking lois lane hostage and dropping her from a building, the bat was ready. On the other side of the coin, if batman went psycho and was out for blood, he would probably sneak up on Superman and slit his throught with a kryptonite blade (Superman has made mention of batman being able to sneak up undetected even to him). Now if superman surprised bruce by flying through wayne manor at the speed of sound while bruce was on the toilet, that's a different story (a funny story, but a different story all together).

In the case of the hypothetical fight above, I would put my money on Wolverine in a spontaneous fight. If it was something batman can prepare for, then I would say batman.

actually, batman has on multiple occasions under different writers displayed uncanny stealth like abilities. he has sneaked into the watchtower without anyone knowing, including superman. In the older Man of Steel series, Batman pulled his 'now you see me now you don't' on big blue as well. Those are just a couple i can remember. so it's not outside of the realm of believably that he can sneak up on superman to kill him. and again, its not an easy task for either to take down each other, but don't count out batman.

On Batman v Wolverine, nothing is absolute. Wolverine's rage gets him into trouble just as often as it helps him. Going toe to toe on skill, wolverine has the experience in spades. If the fight isn't over by the time batman figures out his flaws (which is very likely), the fight would be a lot more of a challenge for Wolverine. On a first fight scenario with each challenger not know each other, I'd give it to Wolverine 7 times out of 10. Batman has a history of taking on new opponents and coming up short, only to come back and bring the pain.

The only way Batman would win is if he took advantage of Wolverine's anger and lead him to a super magnet or something of that sort.

Well alot of people said that Wolverine can heal so that he will win... But do Batman really have to kill Wolverine? or just lock him...

and the claws... Batman is the only human that can escape from Darkseid's Omaga beans... he can be hitten that easy?
