Interestingly enough, DC's New 52 initiative got me and my friend hooked on eight different series. We both had found it a bit difficult to get into ongoing series from the company beforehand. Just an personal observation.

Only bad thing is they are raising prizes on some, like Synder's Batman.

Yeah Red Hood and the Outlaws #1 was to attract chicks haha, nevermind that, they really thought comic books were gonna attract girls!? lol, I just date girls who can stand I like comics, I gave up on them liking them years ago, lol.

I have pretty much dropped all of the new titles. I've never read so few DC comics as I do now - and there was a long time where they were my favorite. I despise the new Superman comics - likewise with Batman. JLA is still being read for now and also Resurrection Man which was always one of my best. Bring on the reboot.

Frankly, the results of this Nielsen survey are irrelevant. The numbers speak for themselves, and I've been personally told by many LCS owners that they saw a huge influx in both new and lapsed readers. I'll go off of the stats provided to me by a retailer waaaaay before I will put weight on a survey conducted through websites whom's main readership consists of current comics readers. 'Nuff said.

At least DC are creating excitement within the industry and whether this 52 lasts or not it does not really matter as they have the Strongest Character and Villans in Comic Book History...

I'm really curious about the FUTURE of the New 52, not the past.

Yay in the 2 percent!
I think the New 52 is great for younger readers like me to know the characters more instead of reading through hundreds of old comics.

The NEW DC 52 is a good idea, but they didn't really change the principal characters costumes that much and some like POWERGIRL, have had just about everything we liked about the look removed:( Here's a thought, maybe keep what we like about the characters and do something profound in their stories, rather than just slap a fresh new design on'em. The new logo looks like a 90s software company logo, not a logo for a creative industry that is supposed to be dedicated to modern myth. The mainstream want to be taken seriously by non-comic readers, that's understandable, maybe you should do what MARVEL has done, make more films, from more than just the BATMAN and SUPERMAN universe. The Green Lantern movie was at least a start.
