ComicsBornAndBred - 7/5/2014, 4:34 AM
Waaaaaay too long. I was literally praying for it to end. Agony!!!!!!!!!
cbmf20 - 7/5/2014, 4:42 AM
3 strikes and hes out.

i liked the first

hated the second

i didnt know what was even going on in the third. (plus it has a continuity error within the same scene which is very bad directing)

this one was an improvement with regards to characters and plot however its worse from a directing standpoint as its way tooo long and feels like the audience is shuffled from action scene to action scene with little plot in between.

im done with these films
RedNTheHood - 7/5/2014, 4:44 AM
Those 3 people that said it was unmissable are either trolls are dumbasses.

These movies make serious bank. They seem to be critic proof.
People enjoy them, and I'm glad for them.
Sadly, I'm not one of them. I saw the first, and it was pretty average.
I walked out of the second, which I thought was an insult to human intelligence.
Didn't bother to see the third in theaters. Checked it out on VOD. Turned it off after 20 minutes of incoherent, jumbled imagery.

I'm not going to see Age of Extinction. And it won't miss me.
One thing's for sure though : whatever we may think of Bay, he's delivered every single time with these "movies", from a box office perspective.
So kudos to him, at least in that regard.

I just hope he'll go back to doing R-rated action flicks soon.
elib - 7/5/2014, 4:58 AM
Michael Bay does what he does VERY well
Xandera - 7/5/2014, 5:05 AM
I won't get those three hours of my life back... What a god awful waste of time.
Xandera - 7/5/2014, 5:06 AM
@elib - and what HE does is terrible movies.
jj72 - 7/5/2014, 5:13 AM
You can only watch Michael Bay signature moves before you start thinking, WTF??? ie . Slow move of a helicopter, angled up camera shots, slow mo of people running, car chases that have too much CGI going on, stupid one liners, etc.
Mastyrwerk - 7/5/2014, 5:29 AM
I so excited to read the reviews of Bay's company ruining Ninja Turtles.

Why would anybody see that trash?
Archangel82 - 7/5/2014, 5:44 AM
Just saw the film last night. Bay promised that this one was going to be different. Unfortunately it was the same jumbled action scene to the next. The movie was way to long. He should have cut back on the time by an hour. The one thing I will say was that the plot and storyline was an improvement aswell as the inclusion of Mark Walburg. But the movie still suffered from the same issues that plagued the other films.
Darlene1974 - 7/5/2014, 6:14 AM
BLAH BLAH BLAH, u can all shit on the movie if u like... WORLDWIDE SUCCESS SAYS OTHERWISE!...sick of u negative pricks! seriously!
thatdude44 - 7/5/2014, 6:16 AM
I liked it. The first one is and will be the best of the series. Maybe I'm the minority, but then again I don't go into a movie based on alien robots expecting Oscar caliber acting and Shakespeare-esq writing.
MyloSteamwitz - 7/5/2014, 6:51 AM
Garbage. The lowest form of entertainment. Porn has better writing.
AlexanderLykins - 7/5/2014, 7:07 AM
Just not a good movie. Had no heart at all.
GenreFan - 7/5/2014, 7:09 AM
3.5+ hours of "what in the world is going on?" I couldn't recommend it to anyone. 100% done with this Transformer films. The only good one was the first and with each additional installment, I hoped things would be kickstarted again and recapture the fun of the initial. After this complete let down both my wife and I are completely done. This isn't about being negative its about being honest. It's simply a disjointed mess of a movie that made little to no sense, whatsoever. I hadn't been that bored in a movie since The Bourne Legacy, in which I woke up to my wife laughing at me because my drinking straw was hanging out of my slack sleeping jaw lol. (Very comedic and memorable moment, mind you)

During this movie we looked at each other, sighed and laughed AT the movie because of its ridiculousness. Just so so silly.

"SPOILERS"

Optimus flying at the end?!?!

All these able bodied autobots making the humans carry the all important object through yet ANOTHER gauntlet of robotic gunfire when they themselves could just take the damn thing in their hands and get to where they need to go.

Mark Whalberg having the physical strength to hold up his transformers dagger gun and deflect the attack of a transformer.

The "ancient warriors" aka Dinobots .. so annoyed .. never even once called by name and barely any story attached

Then they are let go at the end to just what .. run off and live off the land?! /facepalm

This film had...
- Zero redeeming qualities
- Zero drama
- Zero suspense

The transformers themselves looked like toys flying around city.
Breathing robots
Cigar smoking robots (guess they picked up earth habits)
Obese Robots
Samurai Robots

Galvatron .. wait or is it Megatron? ... i can't even ...

New man made transformers dissipating into technoganic clouds of metallic squares to reassemble ...

It was absurd

Preach!

Bitching about wasting your time and money watching a Bayformers film at this stage in the game is like bitching about cigarettes giving you stage 5 cancer.

I don't wanna f**ckin hear it, idiot!

Bay's not even apologetic about it now. And I'm sure he's aware of the problems most people have with these films but why should he care if you're all going to see it anyway?

So basically haters (aka dumb @sses) will hate and still buy a ticket.
But!
People with common sense will hate (and rightfully so) but won't even bother renting the sh!t.
Scorpion8125 - 7/5/2014, 7:50 AM
Comparing the Bayformers crap movies to cancer is a very astute point.
jokersfiend - 7/5/2014, 7:59 AM
I liked the movie okay, its Michael Bay I knew that before. My issue it didn't follow its own bloody canon. Transformers run on Energon!! How can you just be making them from the right type of medal?! You can't just put a human together with pieces and have it come to life. Also it was nice to see rachet who hadn't been in the last two because of .....? Why was Megatron flying? Oh and how was the weird metal cloud morphing just created for all new deceptions? I think I would have been a little more forgiving if it had just been Galvatron
blackula - 7/5/2014, 8:10 AM
to me this was basically the same movie as 2 and 3. The first one was a great movie but he lost me on the second and 3rd movie. It is time for new blood to do something different. This was supposed to be the Transofrmers movie we were waiting for but it sadly was not!
DarthOptimus - 7/5/2014, 8:20 AM
Still better than most DC movies.
MrSuperheromoviefan - 7/5/2014, 8:27 AM
The people have spoken
TheDarkKnightSlap - 7/5/2014, 8:29 AM
Too much Yeager family trials and tribulation. Too many lame ass jokes from Goodman\Hound. Too much Tucci. Villains were just awful. The final battle scene? Using a tow crane...again Mike? Too much Whalburg. The Dinobots were just ravaged. Jesus Christ. The inly good thing I can say about this film, is that I made it through it without killing myself in a matinee. At least I saved $4.
HumaniodTyphoon - 7/5/2014, 8:38 AM
They tried fitting to much into one movie. I felt like i was watch all three lord of the rings in one sitting without the greatness of it. It lacked depth in the transformers all but Optimus. How are you going to have Grimlock with out having him say "Me Grimlock!" and Bumblebee still a dumb mute. I expected more I guess thats why im hash but it was Good nothing more nothing less
ibravosp5 - 7/5/2014, 9:00 AM
Why can't we do this? Get a great story teller like Christopher Nolan and blend it with michael bay's action.....it'll be perfect amount of awesome with great story and action
TheDarkPassenger - 7/5/2014, 9:01 AM
YoungThanos has a point. I don't hate the films (besides the 2nd one), but if I kept putting my hand on a hot stove and kept getting burned, I wouldn't keep doing it.
TheBrownHornet - 7/5/2014, 9:33 AM
Garbage
xXkryptoniteXx - 7/5/2014, 9:49 AM
Li faced it Good, you are going to the movies to be entertained. Not only that, you should expect what your walking into when it a directed by Micheal Bay based on the last three. I personally enjoyed it right up until the 2hr mark which has another 45 minutes to go. If they make a sequel, I hope they improve a bit and go back to the original or even part three but a better ending then three.

Another thing they can improve on is the human elements, enough of the weak character build up with the humans. I want the Transformers to have more of there character build up. They can also lessen the run time by cutting down the human elements. Bring back Linken Park please!!! Imagine Dragons music is weak and I can't even listen to that garbage music that they brought with the movie. Linken Park always fits with Transformers to me and I assume there are fans that feel the same way.

Postive notes are always the action, Frank Welker doing the voice of Galvatron, Optimus Prime in his original form. Autobots communicating with on another, we need more of this. Dinobots! Please bring them back for more and with some character build up with them.

In the end this movie pass but not great but what do you expect from a toy brand movie? This is it, andI'm happy that it's a big budget movie and if it's not we know we won't have any to even enjoy. Keep it up Paramount, just improve on some stuff and it's all good. The level to beat with this movie is part three and part one. Do it!
Nigrutin - 7/5/2014, 9:50 AM
Whoa Unmissable?
Nigrutin - 7/5/2014, 9:50 AM
This movie and that word are weird together...
InfiniteLoki - 7/5/2014, 10:02 AM
This movie actually made me dislike Michael Bay very much.
xNightwingx - 7/5/2014, 10:03 AM
Movie was only 2 hours and 35 minutes from Opening to ending credits. And Galvatron actually was/is Megatron. I enjoyed it. 3 Stars from me.
Moviefanatic14 - 7/5/2014, 10:45 AM
They keep making a huge profit and selling alot of toys, that's why they keep getting made
cristobalite83 - 7/5/2014, 11:00 AM
Micheal Bay is d biggest mistake to hav happened with the Transformer Franchise. He turned d most feared decepticon into a weakling. Galvatron looked so pathetic. I shake m head @ d f**ls from Paramount studios who allow dis B-rated director destroy m beloved Transformers...smh!
druzod2501 - 7/5/2014, 11:33 AM
By Transformers standards (which you should understand by now) this one was actually halfway decent. I liked it.
druzod2501 - 7/5/2014, 11:34 AM
By Transformers standards ( which you should understand by now ) this one was actually halfway decent. I liked it.
reverendendge - 7/5/2014, 1:23 PM
0 stars because terrible movies like this shouldn't be able to make so much $$$
KillerOfSaints - 7/5/2014, 6:22 PM
worst. movie. ever.
KillerOfSaints - 7/5/2014, 6:27 PM
where did Lockdown come from?
why is Fraiser killing autobots?
Dinobots were ancient warriors?
crosshairs' cloak waves in the wind? its metal
Since when could Prime fly?? why was he in Marky Mark's garage then???
Did I have to feel like a pedophile the whole time because of that chick???
They barely touched on Megatron/Galvatron
The man made transformers were first indestructible....now all of a sudden marky mark can shoot them with ease??????

this movie sucked balls
