NYCC: Captain America's suit display

A comparison of the suit before and after taking battle damage.

The suit was displayed earlier this year at SDCC in pristine order. The suit has taken a lot of battle damage since then. Some notable thing about the 2nd picture is the apparent purple blood on the shield and the extreme scorching of the helmet, as well as the gash across the torso.

Kinda looks like Cap got shot in the helmet in that last picture.

I think I prefer the suit in the second picture more .

Ah ha! Just look at the way the purple blood has been splattered across the shield. In issue #135 of the Avengers, 90's era, todd mcfarlane run, panel 52 of page 10, you can CLEARLY see the same blood spatter pattern on Cap's shield after he and the Avengers just defeated the.... oh, what the hell. >;)

Helmet would have been perfect without the ear covers. The ear covers make him look like he is gonna get shot out of a cannon
