you know what @LEEE

I miss the old DC universe, the pre 52
Only things I have liked:
-All Batman related (minus The dark knight)
-All Green Lantern related
-Animal man
-Swamp Thing
-I vampire (but it is gone : (
LEEE777 - 5/14/2014, 1:38 PM
Karmatron @ I feel ya man, your not alone...

I personally prefer the pre 52 too!

I'm not saying I hate the New 52 coz I don't but all the magic's been sucked out of the DC Universe.

At least Marvel didn't wipe their Universe clean, its kinda a pity DC couldn't of put the New 52 in another line like Ultimate comics instead of forced on everyone.

When I heard the Wally West news, was hoping he'd of been from the pre 52 one and got sucked into this new Universe that Barry [frick]ed up with only his memories from the other...could've had him trying to right the wrongs, like trying to change it all back to what its suppose to be. To the New 52 Universe; he would be classed as a Supervillain and I reckon it would've made some pure gold storytelling right there.

Anyway's, not a lover of all the messed up Bat stuff (especially the Robins), and some other stuff too but my fav of the lot is EARTH 2, love that comic!

Man, I really wanna see DC VS MARVEL one-shot comics again, been so long!
LEEE777 - 5/14/2014, 1:40 PM
Yeah love Green Lantern comics and Animal Man, Swamp Thing... not read I-Vampire yet, I take it its good then?
Praetorian - 5/14/2014, 1:42 PM
BLADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LEEE777 - 5/14/2014, 2:02 PM
Praetorian @ I wonder if BLADE exists in the 70's MCU???

Or just ignore an origin completely (maybe just mini flashbacks) and let people put 1 an 1 together as everyone knows New Line Blade.

LEEE - I had the same hopes for Wally as well. It made a good deal of sense since Barry started it all, and feels lke a missed opportunity.

Arts amazing, story sounds kinda intriguing to. Might have to check it out.

Valerio Schiti is doing art on the new issue of New Avengers.
he was doing Journey Into Mystery in the issues running up to it's cancellation.
i am so happy about this. perfect match for him.
good times. New Avengers is one of my favorite Marvel books going now it's turned out to be.

Mighty Avengers is growing on me, it's actually a pretty weird title.
KingNTheKong - 5/15/2014, 3:42 AM
Okay um.......

dethpillow - 5/15/2014, 3:59 AM
oh my god, new issue of New Avengers is so great. Schiti kills it, there's a huge chunk of Black Panther asking all the dead Kings of Wakanda for advice.
sometimes i miss the manic cramming of stuff in that old issues of Avengers and X-Men used to have, but the way New Avengers unfolds all slow, taking it's time these last 6 or 7 months... totally great stuff also.
comic books are sooooo much better than movies. only the best movies i've ever seen, and none of them comic book movies, leave u with the kind of weird mystery that a great comic book can.
action movies are trash, let them eat themselves like they always have.
dumb porkers.
pepe - 5/15/2014, 4:04 AM
I realy liked da Blade from da 70s... Blade da racist
dethpillow - 5/15/2014, 4:08 AM
next issue, Illuminati are taking on the DC stand ins that have been shown the last few issues.

they got Superman, Batman, Dr Fate, Green Lantern, Flash and Martian Manhunter.

and Dr Strange is back. and Banner is one of them now.
what Hickman is writing now in Avengers and New Avengers is like instant Marvel history. Black Order, Builders, Mapmakers/Adaptoids, incursions, those weird gods that they keep threatening are coming. all of Black Swan's weird ass shit going on and flashbacks to her history. if they ever even tried to make a movie out of what Hickman is doing now, their goddam heads would explode.
HachibiTheMC - 5/15/2014, 6:57 AM
so Cage's dad was Shaft? thats [frick]in wak. Yeah he's a blacksploitation character but it's 2014. Having a character who was origanlly an ode to blacksploitation's father be the king of blacksploitation is so cliche its almost insulting to my intelligence.

Blacksploitation wasn't exactly a good thing...
