More Photos Of A Bulked Up Tom Hardy Find Their Way Online!

After that picture apparently taken on the set of The Dark Knight Rises was leaked online last week, Tom Hardy himself has posted a few pictures revealing just how much he has in fact bulked up for the role of Bane...

Sending in some photos of himself to TomHardy.org, the British actor has shown off just how much he's bulked up in preparation for his role as Bane in the third installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises. You can see a full gallery of images over at the site, but here are two of the best.

With an all star cast which includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012!

To become ripped you have to bulk up first, with around a month until showtime I think he will go another week of bulking and then the rest getting cut.. its a long process to be badass ;)

That big of muscle isn't safe to produce realistically and Nolan's always shot for realism in his Batman films, so most likely this is the biggest you're going to get. As long as he's burly compared to Bale, it'll work out fine. You got to remember this is Nolan's gritty psuedo-realism batman, not steroid fest Arkham Asylum.

Seriously, find me an "actor" as big as you think Bane should be who can actually act. Hes bigger than he was and I believe they can fix the height and have Him be Bane pre venom. Then CGI the rest of the muscles onto him when he is on venom. I mean look what they did with Two Face using cgi. @VictorHugo acctually he was Picard's clone in Star Trek Nemesis.

	Ceejay - 4/26/2011, 11:41 AM Login to report abuse Nothing about Michael Keaton was ever Bruce Wayne or Batman, he was short, had crap hair, zero suaveness, looked like an 80's pop reject in his tuxedo and his bat sui was the most ill-fitting costume in the history of comic films. He looked like a joke, his head was HUGE, his fight skills were non-existent, he had more gadgets than James Bond and his lips looked like dried prunes in that mask. Bale is the only one to ever get the characteristics of Bruce and Batman on screen as well as the fight skills and intellect. Their version of Bane will hopefully not be the idiotic comic version that kept growing beyond reasonable size with each stupid artist. All he has to do is increase to a size of a body builder and no more. The venom should be more about strength than size, he's not Ang Lee's Hulk!

The only way to defeat him is throwing batarangs on his nose and making him crush his head on the wall and this should be in the Nolan movie too. :)

Bruce gets in a wheelchair, calls Green Arrow and Bronze Tiger and the Huntress to help him out. Azrael shows up and replaces Batman. Then there´s the Earthquake and No Man's Land. Renee Montoya teams up with Two-face and they save the day.
