While it's a shame that it's dubbed over in French, that doesn't stop the first trailer for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol being downright awesome looking! The following was leaked online earlier today (thanks to Paul for the heads up) but stay tuned for the official English language version soon, especially as it's expected to debut alongside Transformers: Dark of the Moon later this week.

Directed by Brad Bird, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Josh Holloway and Paula Patton, and is set to be released on December 16th, later this year.

Nice find.

But where the heck is Ving Rhames?

Oh well.
Spidersocks - 6/26/2011, 9:08 AM
It looks great, didn't like part 3 because of Ving Rhames unnecessary life lesson conversations, lol

Weird... I was literally just thinking about this movie. Brad Bird is such a talented director, but I don't really like the Mission Impossible movies. Hope he delivers!

looks good but im at a point where im not so interested in MI movies at the moment, too many movies,im rather looking forward to see RDJ in Sherlock Holmes 2 which is the more interesting story at this point for me.

after that maybe i would watch this if nothing is there to watch but my first priority lies with SH 2 :)

Sweet! The Eminem song has me stoked like nobody's business. Can't wait for the American trailer.
RunDTC - 6/26/2011, 10:24 AM
@RoadDogXXIV: I'm surprised the song hasn't been used more for trailers and such. it seems to fit perfectly. I'd be awesome if it was used in the Avengers trailer
spiderneil - 6/26/2011, 10:31 AM

cable23 - 6/26/2011, 10:56 AM
@OverCross Ving Reynes wanted more money but no dice. I dont think he's in this one. Nice to see everyone use Eminems and Pinks "Wont Back Down". Already saw it for Call of Duty.
JaySin420 - 6/26/2011, 10:56 AM
Renner is pretty badass but Cruise is still the man.

Knight and Day 2! lol
I was pretty done with these movies after number 3 but we'll see I guess.
And the name is corny, sounds like a Splinter Cell game.
krzfter - 6/27/2011, 1:22 AM
Looks good. I think this will better than part 2 and as good as part 1.
GlassHeart - 6/27/2011, 5:44 AM
I'll try the translation, but it will not be great.

Tom Wilkinson: "One hour ago, a bomb destroyed the Kremlin. The president initiated the ghost protocol. The Mission Impossible team has been disavowed. Now, I must bring you to Washington where you'll be condamned for the assassination, unless you can escape after having beat us in front of several witnesses. But if one of you is captured, he'll be accused of terrorism for almost initiating a nuclear world war."

Tom Cruise: "So, what happen next ?"

Tom Wilkinson: "Your mission, if you accept it..."

Paula Patton: "So, what's the plan ?"

Tom Cruise: "Who are you really, Brandt ?"

Jeremy Renner: "We all have our secrets. Right, Ethan ?"

Simon Pegg: "Remember: blue, everything's okay with the grapple."

Tom Cruise: "And red ?"

Simon Pegg: "Make your prayers !"

Josh Holloway: "You can't possibly make it !"

Tom Cruise: "Thanks ! That's lot of help !"
