scmittydude - 8/18/2011, 5:19 AM
um... weren't the Skrulls confirmed ages ago?
Shaman - 8/18/2011, 5:19 AM
I still say it's the Kree. It would open doors to many more chapters. Using the Srulls or Atlanteans first would be lame sauce for the first chapter. Marvel has proven to always be thinking farther ahead than we give them credit for. The CGI outfits could be used for the same reasons as Green Lantern's film. Not because they "need to" per say. Plus, aren't the Kree like 7 feet tall? CGI could fix that don't you think? The weapons are very Kree like and i wouldn't be surprised if Whedon AND Marvel wished to incorporate the best female superhero since Wonder Woman in their movieverse; Ms Marvel.

The Kree could be needing the cosmic cube to win their homeworld war against the Skrulls and Loki could use that to attempt to destroy Thor and The Avengers. After all, Fury IS in posession of the cube at the moment. And it could set up a pretty epic Kree/Skrull war overspill on Earth for the sequel. Hell, throw in the Atlanteans in there becoming allies with humans against their will for the preservation of the planet. It just makes sense.

Deadpool13 - 8/18/2011, 5:30 AM
In my opinion it looks like a drop pod like the aliens get shot out of the big ship and land on ground one by one

Almost like an ODST from Halo series IMO
Shaman - 8/18/2011, 5:33 AM
Deadpool13- That would be epic!
Hawksblueyes - 8/18/2011, 5:33 AM
Looks like a big gold-ish bat thingy. If the aliens fit in that tiny ship they must Skrudgits!
the1egend1ives - 8/18/2011, 5:35 AM
That looks ATLANTEAN!!
Hawksblueyes - 8/18/2011, 5:36 AM
Or maybe Krwarves!
valeriesghost - 8/18/2011, 5:36 AM

Hawksblueyes - 8/18/2011, 5:37 AM

Hawksblueyes - 8/18/2011, 5:38 AM
Okay! I'll stop now.
dipsuchos - 8/18/2011, 5:38 AM
the men in motion capture suits are playing frost giants...loki beams them into new york...the strange weapons they have are actually alien weapons which loki robs from an alien race which some have mentioned...needless to say they are not happy and do make an appearance but only at the end which sets up a sequel..i have already said too much...take it or leave it
Shaman - 8/18/2011, 5:39 AM
Hawks- They're called little people. It's an intergalactic term.
Shaman - 8/18/2011, 5:40 AM
dipsuchos- That makes a lot of sense, but it would suck.
CorndogBurglar - 8/18/2011, 5:42 AM
@ dipsuchos

leave it...
the1egend1ives - 8/18/2011, 5:44 AM
@dipsuchos

Lol. Frost Giants riding spaceships and wielding plasma rifles?
Hawksblueyes - 8/18/2011, 5:47 AM
Shaman: Are you certain the PC intergalactic term would not be Oompa Loompa?
Hawksblueyes - 8/18/2011, 5:50 AM
Damn! That's it! It's a Loompaship!
dipsuchos - 8/18/2011, 5:51 AM
i never said the frost giants suddenly became intergalactic spacers..i just said that they come to earth...look at loki in the trailer..wats he holding..hmm looks like a alien weapon..shudnt he be using his staff? the weapons they acquire are much more powerful but again when loki robs them earth pays a huge price for his actions...come on guys...im trying to give you good info here
Lert - 8/18/2011, 5:53 AM
This movie must have run through its budget if that gold whatumacallit is their ship. never saw "gold" tin foil before
RexDartEskimoSpy - 8/18/2011, 5:54 AM
Did that fall off one of Chris Nolan's Batvehicles?
Yorel - 8/18/2011, 5:55 AM
Can I put forward an alternate suggestion?
Maybe it's Asgardian.

Maby this is how Thor gets back to Earth, maby he crash lands, SHIELD not relising its him send Cap, radio contact is lost, Cap and Thor fight (Didn't Hemsworth say the Avangers would beat each other up?), before they can kill each other SHIELD arrive and they both stand down.

Could explain Cap and Thor having respect for each other.
Shaman - 8/18/2011, 5:55 AM
Hawks- Actually no, that term is intergalactically known for cheap laber factory workers.
ScionStorm - 8/18/2011, 5:56 AM
Avengers-Wing . . . Space-Wing . . .
Shaman - 8/18/2011, 5:58 AM
Surely i meant *labor.

dipsuchos- Yeah that really does make sense, but it really does suck too. I mean, the frost giants again? Wouldn't Marvel want to make a good movie, after hyping it through 5 different films now?
xcrementus - 8/18/2011, 6:00 AM
kinda looks like a scarab to me. like the ones from Kang's army in Avengers:EMH episodes?
moneybanks - 8/18/2011, 6:03 AM

nld3 - 8/18/2011, 6:10 AM

AlexdoxA - 8/18/2011, 6:11 AM
It's not Chitauri... I kinda looks like a yellow cab
Spidey91 - 8/18/2011, 6:15 AM
maybe it's some kind of drone, like an alien UCAV or something
JackBauer - 8/18/2011, 6:16 AM
Looks Atlantean to me ;)
RunDTC - 8/18/2011, 6:18 AM
wasn't there a rumor in the past few weeks about a Carol Danvers casting announcment? or did that turn out to be BS?
mrHJK - 8/18/2011, 6:19 AM
It's the Reavers
moneybanks - 8/18/2011, 6:24 AM
