sickboy76 - 5/20/2014, 3:37 AM
Personally don't trust kinberg as far as I can throw him, especially after he attempted to blame everyone else for the last stand. Whedon said he wanted sw and as long before either film started up production. Even said themselves it was meant to be juggernaut breaking out magneto and then they changed it.

i really dont like sch clips, its so out of context, these sorta clips should be played in full...its not the uploader's fault in here, but them companies that love to cut interviews up!
mmadadamm - 5/20/2014, 3:47 AM
how are we going to get Angel to be in Apocalypse so that we can have Archangel as a horseman is the real question.

@0megaDaGod Yup
BTW I was thinking of having an X-men marathon before DOFP would you miss out say missing origins is recommended or not?
Kurne - 5/20/2014, 4:16 AM
Didn't Helman and Collider already confirm Helman was cast as Jughead, but replaced as Stryker at the last minute (after Whedon's announcement) in favor of Quicksilver? Lol either way Simon, thanks for the update.
pepe - 5/20/2014, 4:16 AM
I hope they bring Deadpool in da sequel.....

..... Not Singerspool..,
TheBrotherhood - 5/20/2014, 4:17 AM
So they're going to bring quicksilver from the 70's to the present time? Haha...
Kurne - 5/20/2014, 4:21 AM
@TheBrotherhood

Apocalypse is going to be set in the 80's.

Which reminds me, considering Pietro is as young as - say 17 in this film, he'd be what, 47 in X2's time? 67 in DOFP's (future) time? Lol how old are Charles and Erik in the future?
CoulsonLives - 5/20/2014, 4:22 AM
Quicksilver CONTROVERSY? It's not like he's Bryan Singer or anything...
AstonishingArachnid - 5/20/2014, 4:27 AM
Age of Ultron Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will be more popular than the X-Men versions, simply because A) Its Marvel studios and B) They're being introduced in the Avengers. That's just a fact of life. The Avengers 'fandom' will make sure of that. It would be similar to CW Flash being more popular than the inevitable cinematic Flash.
Kurne - 5/20/2014, 4:29 AM
Peters looks like Olsen's bro, Taylor-Johnson looks like Fassbender's son 0_o
ekrolo2 - 5/20/2014, 4:29 AM
@Kurne

Magneto seemed to be about 13-14 when he met Sebastian Shaw (to me at least) so he was probably 30-31 when he met Xavier & Mystique, 40ish in DOFP and since the future thing in DOFP is apparently 2023, I'd say Mags is over 90 when the future segments are happening.
IronRuhail - 5/20/2014, 4:30 AM
@0megaDaGod Thanks
kickit - 5/20/2014, 4:32 AM
I would only say to watch Origins to watch Liev Schreiber's performance.
TheDarkKnightSlap - 5/20/2014, 4:34 AM
@AstonishingArachnid ...agree on all accounts.
shadearts - 5/20/2014, 4:35 AM
Well thats gonna be some confusing shit they adding Quicksilver and Gambit all in different timelines so what will Quicksilver be on a walker and Gambit have Arthritis throwing cards because I dont see how they gonna fit with the other x-men they will probably ignore the timeline or say they arelike wolverine and age different GOTTA LOVE FOX SMH
AlexanderLykins - 5/20/2014, 4:37 AM
This makes no sense. He'd be way too old.
pointman - 5/20/2014, 4:37 AM
This whole thing is so convoluted it is almost funny if it were not tragic. This is becoming and unintentional comedy.
Kurne - 5/20/2014, 4:38 AM
@ekrolo2

That sounds about right. I remember McAvoy and Fassbender saying Charles and Erik were in their late 20's in First Class. Sounded like bs so I ignored them :P But yes, assuming he's at least 31 in First Class, in DOFP (2023) he's about... 93.
McNyagano - 5/20/2014, 4:38 AM
Hell Yeah, he was awesome in DOFP! Just give him better clothing next time-.-
ekrolo2 - 5/20/2014, 4:38 AM
@Alexander@shade

Apocalypse is based solely on the First Class people in the 80s, so no they wouldn't be too old. If they brought back the older cast (which they probably won't) then it would be an issue for both Pietro and Gambit.
AlexanderLykins - 5/20/2014, 4:41 AM
@ekrolo2
Oh, okay. No problems then. Everything I've been hearing has been saying the movie ends in the future, not the past.
ekrolo2 - 5/20/2014, 4:43 AM
@Alexander

I believe it has a final scene with the future cast as a sort of send off to them, but the series as a whole will continue solely in the past.
AlexanderLykins - 5/20/2014, 4:45 AM
@ekrolo2
Awesome!
GeekyCheekyChic - 5/20/2014, 4:50 AM
One of Fox's biggest problems is costuming in their comic book movies. Nobody would have said "boo" if Quicksilver didn't look so damn stupid in that outfit. Fox has gotten one look right out of ALL their movies- MAGNETO Michael Fassbender.
Second place Beast X-Men Last Stand
Third Place Nightcrawler X2 (except there was no need for all those tattoos)

Everything else CRAP. They couldn't even give Cyclops decent visors.
X1- Sabretooth looked like cosplay
Storm always looks dumb in those wigs.
The very s&m gay-centric skin tight leather suits
And sorry but the future X-Men in DOFP look like a collection of cosplayers.

McNyagano - 5/20/2014, 4:50 AM
ekrolo is right:) As much as I dislike Wolverine and what they have done to the character in this franchise, he's the one I'm most excited to see in Apocalypse given what happens to his 70's younger self at the end of DOFP:O
Tetrahedron - 5/20/2014, 4:54 AM
@Brainiac13:
DEFA - 5/20/2014, 4:56 AM
- Lame...!!!
shadearts - 5/20/2014, 5:04 AM
So basically we are going to only get period pieces for now on no present day X-men no white hair Magneto and other shi* is that really any better
MightyZeus - 5/20/2014, 5:12 AM
Cool i guess. Not sure what to expect to this version of Quicksilver but i have complete confidence in AOU's Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch.
MrSotoMan - 5/20/2014, 5:19 AM
Seeing this on Sunday, and possibly Godzilla the next day.

Pull a double feature for those theaters!
