New LUCY Clip Sees Scarlett Johansson Demand Some Emergency Surgery

And who's gonna say no to a ruthless, super-powered chick with a gun pointed at their head? This latest extended clip from Luc Besson's upcoming sci-fi/action flick is called "Surgery", and you can take a look at it after the jump.

From La Femme Nikita and The Professional to The Fifth Element, writer/director Luc Besson has created some of the toughest, most memorable female action heroes in cinematic history. Now, Besson directs Scarlett Johansson in Lucy, an action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.

Starring Scarlett Johannson, Morgan Freeman and Analeigh Tipton, Luc Besson's Lucy is set to be released on August 8th, 2014 July 25th, 2014.

It should be interesting to figure how she knew enough about anatomy to be able to form that accurate a diagnosis. It's one thing to have perfect access and recollection to all memories, but first you must have acquired those memories. Where would she have ever learned that? But, I guess we all have useless lumps of information floating in our brains. Maybe her roommate was a nurse going to school.
