The give the X-Men back to Marvel crowd make ma laugh. DOFP was as good as the best Marvel movies and better than most of them.

@RorMachine

Your not interested in seeing Marvel's take on the X-Men?

And, I know the possibilities of it happening are slim, but one can hope

Sure I am, it'd be cool to see those characters interact with the Marvel Studios gang, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate what Fox is doing with them at the same time. DOFP was my favourite CBM of last year.

Im probably the only one happy with X-Men being at Fox.
Despite a few bad movies, the tone of the Fox movies are perfect for the X-Men, exploring the discrimination of mutants, the darkness but with sprinkles of humour as well as the violence of Wolverine.

Also not sold on Shipp as Storm but I hope I'm proved wrong.
It's a shame they really underused Zoe Kravitz

Hopefully the rights can be worked out so that Marvel can still use Storm in Black Panther.... similar to the rights of the Twins

Lupita, FTW!!

Besides us having completely lost Jollem, enough with the inb4's.

That crap has gotten just as bad as the actual trolls. Or the other trolls.

Yeah man, never said you can't appreciate a movie.

Just saying, seeing how Marvel is handling the characters in AOU, Vision, etc.... I would love to see X-Men back home, aside from just the character interactions, and what it would mean for the MCU, we could also actually see Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine!!, Storm, The Phoenix Force in full effect, and with more influence from the comics....

Having FF home would also be amazing

I got reported not long ago in my other account for saying I thought that DOFP was the best CBM last year.
Sooo yeah, no opinions allowed here brother.

"Look at all the trolls, they're upset!"

Haha, Has it gotten even worse the last few days? It looks like Dexter was cloned in the hall of shame, I've been really busy this week, I've missed most of it but I noticed the Block button, was that just added

@TheGodButcher

Very true. I saw someone mention a point about it being a disadvantage if marvel had everyone. If everything was under one company they would be more limited on who they get around to. Because Fox and Sony have some that just means more comic book movies.

DOFP was an enjoyable movie, though since pretty much immediately after watching it the things that were the most present in my memory were the flaws (which usually isn't a good sign). To be really fair I have to watch it again someday, but I just don't feel like it (again, not a good sign).

That being said... I'm really curious what Singer will give us with Apocaplypse, how the new cast will perform, what the future of the franchise holds etc. I have long given up the idea of seeing the X-Men I know on screen like I know them, but that's okay, cause they aren't in today's comics either.

And I reeeeally don't want the X-Men to go to Marvel Studios anytime soon. Would they make the X-movie I always wanted to see? I don't know, maybe. But without them they WILL continue to make fun movies about characters I don't know much, and watching superhero movies without that kind of baggage is extremely pleasant for me.

I enjoy the X-Men movies, but I hate how they continue to shit and underuse/underdevelop so many of their characters.
CherryBomb
CherryBomb - 3/28/2015, 5:59 AM
The X Men work as they are because they are freaks, unique in society.
Giving them to Marvel where everyone is super powered or a government agent would make them lose their "special" quality.

Fox should give the X-Men movie rights back to Marvel. Just becacuse Marvel made a deal with Fox to avoid bankruptcy, it doesn't mean Fox can do whatever it wants with these characters.

Don't people realise that if Marvel had everyone we wouldn't have any Xmen movies at all.

Where would they fit Deadpool,FF, Xmen, Gambit, Wolverine...
In between Age of Ultron, Antman, Civil War, Ragnarok, Spiderman, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, GOTG, Ragnarok, Infinity Wars 1 and 2, Inhumans...
Without having them cut into eachothers box office.
Come on people think
