POLL/DISCUSSION: Who Would You Like To See As Our New SPIDER-MAN? POLL/DISCUSSION: Who Would You Like To See As Our New SPIDER-MAN?

A couple of nights back we found out the names of the six actors (well, unless they decide to go a different direction that is) that are in line to nab the highly sought after role of Sony and Marvel's new Wall-Crawler. Which one do you think best suits those webshooters?

We know Marvel need to choose someone to play Spider-Man very soon if they want the character to appear in Captain America: Civil War, but we recently found out that there are more potential candidates for the role than we initially thought. Though rumors pointed to Asa Butterfield being the top contender (and he may still be), he has competition from five other young actors... that we know of!

In their report on these new hopefuls THR mention that there's a possibility Marvel and Sony won't even go with someone from that shortlist, and may decide to keep looking. But for the purposes of this poll, let's assume it will come down to one of these six actors - who do you think is best suited to the role? Vote below and sound off in the usual place.

Out of these choices, Tom Holland.

All shitty choices. Holland is the lesser of the evils as they say. Dylan O'Brien or bust

None of them. I want someone who doesn't look like they were born in 2010.

Asa but I'll take any of these wonderbreads over Dylan. The thirst for him is pathetic.

Liam James is ideal.

I know right guys 18 is way too young to play a 16 year old character.

I'd preferred to actually see Amazing Spider-Man 3 can you believe it?

I just watched The Impossible (2012) with Ewan McGregor and it was fantastic. It was a disaster film that focused on the heart and humanity of the characters, but Tom Holland was in it as one of McGregor's kids and he absolutely killed it! I would take him as Spider-Man over Asa Akira err... I mean Asa Butterfield any day now...

Man whoever they get Marvel better do Peter Parker and Spider-Man justice for goodness sake.

Why do people keep suggesting Dylan O'Brian?

Everything I've seen from him doesn't convince me he could pull off the nerdy, mild-mannered, socially awkward personality of Peter Parker.

We already had one Peter who failed to make audiences believe he was a nerd. We don't need another.

Don't give two shits who they cast, as long as the writing and directing doesn't blow goats like the last three Spidey movies.

None. No offense to them as actors as some of them are really good especially Asa Butterfield. But I just don't see any of them as Spiderman. Granted they are going for a highschool Spiderman these actors look like they should be in middle school. Although if I had to choose it would be Asa Butterfield.

Caitlyn Jenner is my pick.

I would love to have seen a seasoned Spiderman with his already robust rouge gallery. However I do understand Marvel's choice to start out with a highschool Spiderman in order to secure him for a long time and really flesh out the character.
