Stacy Keach Joins SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR As "Wallenquist"

It seems Eva Green wasn't the final cast addition to Robert Rodriguez's currently shooting Sin City sequel. Stacy Keach (who worked with RR on Machete) has now signed on as "chief villain" Wallenquist. Read on for more details.

Variety report that Stacy Keach has been brought aboard Sin City: A Dame To Kill For to play mob boss Wallenquist. Rodriguez describes the character as “the one man who can’t be redeemed in Sin City,” adding that "he is pure evil.” We all figured Eva Green would be the final piece of the puzzle when she was cast as the "dame" of the title Ava Lord, but not so. Can we look forward to even more casting announcements as shooting continues? Keach joins the returning Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Michael Madsen, Rosario Dawson and Jamie King, alongside newcomers Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin, Ray Liotta, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Dennis Haysbert, Julia Garner and Juno Temple. The movie will hit theaters October 4th.

Wow. Powers Booth in the first and Stacey Keach in the second. Old TV Mike Hammer himself. Very cool.

Although, I preferred Ralph Meeker as Hammer, myself. But that's got sod all to do with sod all. Looking forward to this movie.

Im not hating this choice or anything. Keach is good actor and all but i seriously would have liked to see someone bigger in this role.

Vincent D´Onofrio would have been perfect.

Or how awesome it would have been to see Schwarzenegger play it.

Seems perfect for "pure evil." THere are lots "who can't be redeemed" though, right? Rourke, Kevin, Yellow Bastard? Can't remember who all dies in the first one. Not that that matters.
