An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Inception), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Cosmopolis), and Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck., The Bourne Legacy) and Bryan Cranston (Argo, TV's Breaking Bad).

I really hope we see Godzilla go up against Ghidora in a possible sequel.
JordanKing - 4/25/2014, 2:06 PM
He's getting fat in his old age.
Nomis - 4/25/2014, 2:17 PM
^ LOl! Godz needs to hit the P90X!
Ha1frican - 4/25/2014, 2:21 PM
Great pic, awful magazine design.
dio - 4/25/2014, 2:22 PM
He aint fat ,He just does Legs.
dio - 4/25/2014, 2:23 PM
What halfrican said. really bad cover.
dio - 4/25/2014, 2:23 PM
But hell yeah to Fangoria still being around!
AsianVersionOfET - 4/25/2014, 2:24 PM
Yeah that is one ugly magazine...but Godzilla looks effin amazing. Probably my favorite design of him since his genesis.
DrunkenNukem - 4/25/2014, 2:35 PM
Looks like some old 80´s magazine
JossWeedOnMe - 4/25/2014, 2:36 PM

I'm disappointed the filmakers have said the creatures he is battling are made for the movie and completely new monsters...I feel the fans want to see the old monsters given a new twist rather, they could just be saying that to divert our attention though, because in the trailer they looked an awful lot like the original monsters!
questionhound - 4/25/2014, 2:40 PM
I saw the WonderCon footage and it was beyond amazing! If that footage is Godzilla's entrance in the movie, it is perfect. BRING ON MAY 16th!!!
DestroyallTroll - 4/25/2014, 2:41 PM
Some people say he's looking fat, some, he's looking like he got a six pack. What gives? LoL
Think he's the best iteration of an updated modern take on the creature while still paying homage to the original that we could hope for.
Anyway, I like it.
DestroyallTroll - 4/25/2014, 2:42 PM
But yeah, he does look kindav chunky there.
Scarilian - 4/25/2014, 2:43 PM
I like the design - but I need to see more of him in action. I know the last American Godzilla flicked sucked and I have high hopes for this film - but I need to see more of Godzilla destroying shit xD
Duratok - 4/25/2014, 2:47 PM
If y'all think Godzilla looks fat, then maybe you're just used to the 1998 American version, because every Japanese incarnation has been quite chunky.
Jebediah - 4/25/2014, 2:49 PM
Fangoria needs to hire a new graphic designer. Looks like they made this cover in Microsoft Powerpoint
manofmidgard - 4/25/2014, 3:01 PM
anyone else think that the leg of the one monster in the trailer looks like the cloverfield monster?
manofmidgard - 4/25/2014, 3:03 PM
really really pumped for this movie! hope i'm not as disappointed as the last time i expected an awesome zilla movie! at least GZ looks perfect this time round!
Ocelot - 4/25/2014, 3:06 PM

Toho wont let them use their monsters. If they do a sequel I hope Legendary and Universal make a deal with them so they can use Ghidorah. You can't have a series without his main nemesis.
SuperCat - 4/25/2014, 3:10 PM
Fat muthaf*cka.
DestroyallTroll - 4/25/2014, 3:35 PM
For real, right? Gojira has always been affectionately known to a lot of G-fans as "Ol Thunder Thighs"
I'm confused, which original monsters do they look like, exactly?
DestroyallTroll - 4/25/2014, 3:36 PM
Kumonga? Kindav...I guess...
DestroyallTroll - 4/25/2014, 3:36 PM
but not really at all
Comicbookguy543 - 4/25/2014, 3:45 PM
@Ocelat Ah makes sense now!

@I saw similarities between the original monsters, the one looked similar to Rodan and maybe a bit like Destroyah and the "hook claw" that came down reminded me of Gigan, also what looked like a centipede body (although it could be an armored looking tail) that reminded me of Centipoor..but I'm probably just reading to much into it XD I think it's because I just want to see the original monsters so badly!!!!!
Greengo - 4/25/2014, 4:17 PM
There's a horror mag called "SKREEeeeeooOOONNKKK!"?
BonoDickinson1 - 4/25/2014, 6:24 PM
I like the cover because it does remind me of the mags from the seventies and eighties. Check out Fangoria's first issue and you will understand.
DestroyallTroll - 4/25/2014, 6:24 PM
Yeah, go look 'em up bro. They look NOTHING like any Toho monsters. CA little like Cloverfield, but not anymore than in how they seem to walk, and the thin limbs and gangly gait.
There is a lot of Gigan in their eyes though.
I want the Toho Kaiju as well...
DestroyallTroll - 4/25/2014, 6:25 PM
Doesn't it have Godzilla on it as well?
BonoDickinson1 - 4/25/2014, 6:28 PM
riseofloganX36 - 4/25/2014, 8:17 PM
wow really? really? Really?!?!?!!!!!!!! REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's to fat?!?!?! WOW!!!!!! You people better stop bitching or he's ganna check him self into rehab after he destorys your town.

@comicbookguy453 i was thinking rodan. And there was a synopos a while back on here saying " milatary battels godzilla while he fighs other creaters" or Something like that. So im thinking he's fighting more than njust tanks and planes. But i don't know if we have the rights to use those monsters with in godzillas world it might just be GODZILLA, i would like to see what king gedora or destroyah.

But GODZILLA looks amazing even if he is to fat...

Really people?!?!!!!!!

NUFF said BUB!

Didn't know Fangoria was still going, blast from the past.
loki668 - 4/26/2014, 12:43 AM
With amphibians, fat means dangerous. They're well-fed, strong, and have enough fat reserves to devote the entire day to putting your ass in the ground. Maybe one day you'll all have the anorexic, stick-figure Godzilla that you're pining for. Until then, per Yoda:

"The [frick] over it, you must get."
Namor - 4/26/2014, 3:30 AM
Is Godzilla gonna be a anti-hero in this film or what?
FarkinA - 4/26/2014, 6:50 AM
I wonder will they defeat Godzilla? or somehow force him into a long dormant hibernation? They better do something before he makes Kaiju babies.
