Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel’s first television series, is from executive producers Joss Whedon (Marvel's The Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who co-wrote the pilot (Dollhouse, Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog). Jeffrey Bell (Angel, Alias) and Jeph Loeb (Smallville, Lost, Heroes) also serve as executive producers. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television."

Once again Clark, my condolences.
Kurne - 1/27/2014, 3:31 AM
You shouldn't have to go through this.
kaijunexus - 1/27/2014, 3:32 AM
Transcript would have been nice...
Kurne - 1/27/2014, 3:32 AM
I hope this show is like Fringe - crappy first season, amazing second, third and so on-seasons.
CherryBomb - 1/27/2014, 3:34 AM
I could see AoS having a time travelling foe that sends them to Agent Carter.
CherryBomb - 1/27/2014, 3:34 AM
Which would be a cool back door pilot...
dethpillow - 1/27/2014, 3:36 AM
I really like Clark Gregg a lot now after that Tahiti show.
that made me sad to see him on that table getting operated on.

i like his style too in interviews, the way he talks and stuff.
dethpillow - 1/27/2014, 3:39 AM
I had a cool back door pilot once.
sigh...but he only flew cargo one way.
so it was pretty doomed from the get go.
soforizo - 1/27/2014, 3:40 AM
I liked his dry joke about being killed again. =D

MightyZeus - 1/27/2014, 3:43 AM
I guess this is cool.
MsDarkPhoenix - 1/27/2014, 3:45 AM
The second half of the first season is much better so far and it looks like it will get even better!!

(RE WATCHED First season of Arrow last Week)
CherryBomb - 1/27/2014, 4:18 AM

@TheDarkPhoenix

thanks! <3
It's a beautiful image of her.
nach1wan - 1/27/2014, 4:58 AM
he's da man, i really like aos and it keeps getting better, like it should

watching shield and the next day arrow... its better than waiting for comic book films honestly
Pedrito - 1/27/2014, 5:29 AM
Can't wait for the next episode.
And neither can the supposed haters.
mgeoff88 - 1/27/2014, 5:41 AM
That would be badass to see Peggy Carter on AOS!
ManDeth - 1/27/2014, 5:48 AM
Never seen Access Hollywood's Laura Saltman before.
She was awesome giving the interview. And the conversation between her and Gregg was really nice to watch.
Gregg seems to be really excited and proud to be doing the show and Laura Saltman seemed to genuinely love talking to him about it.

Laura Saltman is also very attractive in a great Earthy way when compared to the usual fake faced women interviewers with the trained and typical speech styles.

I had to feel bad for Gregg that he is that enthused by the show but Marvel failed to make it great. I suggest they scrap it and start over. Send Coulson to the past to help form Shield or kill off ALL of his co stars and start over.
And they need to lose the refined, generic TV show look and style.
BatManiac - 1/27/2014, 5:54 AM
I'm really starting to lose interest in this show. I hope something exciting happens soon. The way they turned Blizzard into the teenage freak of the week was not cool.
Mysterion - 1/27/2014, 6:08 AM
I like Clark Gregg...you can tell that he really loves playing Agent Coulson.
Bekss - 1/27/2014, 6:13 AM
Batmaniac

Just stop watching the show. Coulson brain was exciting, SHIELD conspiracy is exciting, Deathlok is exciting, Sif is exciting. The speculations about the clairvoyant are exciting. You just don't like the show
Pedrito - 1/27/2014, 6:17 AM
@Bekks
No, they ruined Blizzard's origin. He's one of the most iconic characters ever and now he's ruined forever and ever and ever.

I can't wait to see who they "ruin" next, though :)
Bekss - 1/27/2014, 6:33 AM
Pedrito
I don't even mentioned Blizzard. But in a Youtube video about the episode almost all the comments are possitive about him, so it depends who you are. And he is not that iconic.
But once again just stop watching the show if you think they are ruining something.

I just read all the episodes synopsis and only 3 episodes are not connected to the others.
BatManiac - 1/27/2014, 6:35 AM
Wow, my comment hit a nerve. For your information, I do like Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D but I'm starting to loose interest in the show. The show isn't about Deathlok or Lady Sif, its about Coulson and his team and as it stands, Coulson's team are not interesting and 30 minutes of Lady Sif isn't going to change that.
GliderMan - 1/27/2014, 6:41 AM
I agree with Batmaniac. Although I'm still gonna watch the show cuz it's MCU.

heitish, get out of here with your blasphemy!
ElDarkside - 1/27/2014, 6:41 AM
@pedrito - he is definitely NOT one of "the most iconic characters ever" maybe to you he is but to the general audience he's just a super smart kid who just got an origin story. If anything, be thankful that your "most iconic character ever" , whom I've never heard of before, is actually on the small screen. (and I am a novice comic reader but I've heard of the the actual "iconic characters" you know, the ones that the general audience knows about...

You actually think this show for just comic book fans only?!?!? Get real man... And stop making ridiculous statements that make you sound unintelligent and out of touch with the rest of earth...
Priest - 1/27/2014, 6:45 AM
Blizzard "one of the most iconic characters ever"....I bet that most of the people on this website didn't even knew who Blizzard was.
Priest - 1/27/2014, 6:47 AM
Some people here won't like the show no matter what. They made their minds about it.
BatManiac - 1/27/2014, 6:48 AM
Blizzard was a forgettable teenage freak of the week. There was nothing great or exciting about the character at all.

^ Haha, what a lame-o.
QuestiontheAnswer - 1/27/2014, 6:50 AM
Yeah this show isn't for comic book fans, it's for people who are easy to please.
Priest - 1/27/2014, 7:04 AM
I guess that some of you almost feel physical pain because the show is not being cancelled any time soon since it doesn't meet your high expectations. I would bet anything that this show will get a 2nd season.
JulieJuggs - 1/27/2014, 7:05 AM
Clark Gregg and Melinda May are the sexiest people on this show. Some of the other team members are a little annoying.
fortycals - 1/27/2014, 7:16 AM
I guess I'll kick off the flame war. I love how a show about regular agents have had more "super powers", in just over half a season, than the show about an actual superhero had in its first whole season. Talk about watered down. Sorry guys the flames weren't coming fast enough, had to add some fuel.
Bekss - 1/27/2014, 7:56 AM
Batmaniac

Sorry for the "you don't like the show" but there have been interesting things about coulson team. And it's not a show about them only, it's a show about the cinematic universe (the less important things), the dark side of SHIELD, and "Deathlok was in the first episode so it's about him too, it's about the centipede (possible HYDRA), the clairvoyant and all that, there's too many things and only 12 episodes so far.

I don't like to compare but Arrow wasn't this exciting the first season. And PERSONALLY I think Arrow is about the cameo of the week now.
MercwithMouth - 1/27/2014, 8:03 AM
[frick] you all, AoS is awesome!

Is that flame worthy enough?

Haha. I for one, love this show. And @Predito, nice one, Blizzard 'iconic', well done. I am getting sick of the 2 new episodes, then short hiatus crap, but all full season shows have gone to that.

Can't wait for Feb. 4th!
NoPhucksGiven - 1/27/2014, 8:04 AM
aos needs a bigger budget. More comic characters. Less humor. And better writing.
fortycals - 1/27/2014, 8:15 AM
@Merc
yeah man you get it. It's not an aos thread, without the flame.
