I know the rules man! This is happening.
McNyagano - 5/16/2014, 9:51 AM
Fire Singer! Great superhero movie but far from an 'X-Men' film.
TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM - 5/16/2014, 9:52 AM
^ Same with First Class...

Sunday! How come you've attached last weeks weekly planet and not this weeks X-men one?

Love the show.
FastFlames - 5/16/2014, 9:56 AM
Oh sweet babies!
Nomis - 5/16/2014, 9:57 AM
@ McNyagano - Did you post your review?
UltimateHunt - 5/16/2014, 10:00 AM
I just want it to be compared to Xmen 1st class and how far, close it is from good or worse
CaptainAmerica31 - 5/16/2014, 10:01 AM
First class and TWS are the best CBMs in the 10's
TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/16/2014, 10:08 AM
Not a raving review LOL. I knew it as I know what happens. ;)
MercwithMouth - 5/16/2014, 10:09 AM
Sounds good to me.
YoungThanos - 5/16/2014, 10:09 AM
Meh, if First Class was better then I'm not impressed. DOFP cost 200+ to make so where did that money go???
Gamera623 - 5/16/2014, 10:10 AM
Mr.Sunday didnt like Amazing Spider-man 2 right?

Can't trust 'im.
0megaDaGod - 5/16/2014, 10:10 AM
First Class placed emotion over action

This looks like it placed action over emotion

Neither one of those approaches is inherrently better than the other

We'll see how well it turns out next week
TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/16/2014, 10:11 AM
@ CaptainAmerica31 Rethink what you said. First Class is not an X-Men film. It is in name only. Also it can't hold The Avengers jock strap. Smdh.
KrazyForKomix - 5/16/2014, 10:12 AM
So often THAT'S what it comes down to:
A great (or really good) movie is made that has super beings in it.
But it's not a good (fill in the blank) specific super hero movie.
SOOOO many people get hurt feelings when you point that out.
pointman - 5/16/2014, 10:13 AM
@THANOS
Where did the money go? I', guessing pool parties.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/16/2014, 10:13 AM
McNyagano - 5/16/2014, 9:51 AM

Fire Singer! Great superhero movie but far from an 'X-Men' film.

I believe my boy @McN. He speaks truth. ;)
YoungThanos - 5/16/2014, 10:14 AM
So the understanding here is that it's still a SINGER film and not a real X-MEN film.

So let me know when we get one.
CaptainAmerica31 - 5/16/2014, 10:14 AM
@Remy yes but it was still a very good film regardless.
Shamo - 5/16/2014, 10:17 AM
94 on rotten tomatoes. Singer triumphs again. Lol @ the haters saying it would flop critically & wouldn't make more money then Cap, Spidey or GOTG.
ekrolo2 - 5/16/2014, 10:17 AM
So basically if you're looking for a good adaptation you're shit out of luck, but if you want a very well made movie in terms of action, performances and looks then you're in for a treat? Sounds like my cup of tea.
Phlegmbot - 5/16/2014, 10:18 AM
@Gamera623 - are you joking? ASM2 is like the Superman III of Spidey movies. W/the exception of a few of the scenes between Peter and Gwen and Peter and May, it was a horrific mess and an embarrassment.

Yeah, everyone was all excited to have a Spider-Man who jokes around like the Spidey in the comics...except he only does it in one scene and he's doing it WHILE PEOPLE AND THINGS ARE GETTING RUN OVER.

Awful. I don't always agree w/critics, but when something gets a 57% on Rotten Tomatoes, there IS a reason for that.
m0th3r - 5/16/2014, 10:18 AM
@YoungThanos Jez, yea your right...Last i heard it was most expensive CBM EVER! Meaning it costs MORE then Superman Returns (who directed that?) at 270m...so 275m? And at over 200m for marketing...thats 475m or 950m to BREAK EVEN...thats fantasy land stuff...It does sound and look MUCH BETTER then X3 W:O and FC...so better is good, but profitable and better is WAY better.. :)
green101lantern - 5/16/2014, 10:19 AM
I'm sorry, I just can't get excited for this film... and I am trying to.

*spits out drink*

CLASSIC! LMAO!
m0th3r - 5/16/2014, 10:20 AM
@Shamo 94 on RT with a caveat(from RT not me) that says not enough people have rated it yet..and its not like Fox would do early release to a favorable audience like every other studio..lets just be clear..

m0th3r - 5/16/2014, 10:20 AM
@pointman "pool parties.." stealing it...
TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/16/2014, 10:20 AM
@ CaptainAmerica31 First Class had very few good elements and that was James Macavoy, Kevin Bacon (wasn't the real Sebastian Shaw) and Michael Fassbender. Everyone was ass and a throw away character.
Phlegmbot - 5/16/2014, 10:21 AM
p.s. ASM2 makes Raimi's 3rd Spider-Man movie look like Citizen Kane 2 (well, I mean, come on, it doesn't make it look like Citizen Kane!)

Sorry I was just so incensed at how bad ASM2 movie was. It was insulting.
ekrolo2 - 5/16/2014, 10:22 AM
@m0th3r

The movie cost 225 mil and a marketing budget far less than ASM2, probably something around Cap Winter Soldier, so yeah this is NOT ASM2 all over again, and its certainly not the most expensive in terms of simple production budget.
m0th3r - 5/16/2014, 10:22 AM
@Phegmbot I watch AMCs Movie Talk..Schneep refused to do the review he was so pissed off and disappointed...
TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/16/2014, 10:23 AM
@moth3r exactly!

Hmm...Is it okay the I hear Sheldon's voice when I read your post?

m0th3r - 5/16/2014, 10:23 AM
@Pheg also...ASM now stalling at ~550m...meaning MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE financial loss for Sony..That rumor is true..:)
green101lantern - 5/16/2014, 10:24 AM
lol @ YoungThanos
TheRealRemyLebeau - 5/16/2014, 10:24 AM
Tasm 2 felt more like the comicbooks than any X-Men movie and that's the truth. ;)
