JoeMomma29 - 5/27/2014, 7:54 AM
Yeah this movie ranks well within my top five, it was really solid and I know I am digging it........

venom0706 - 5/27/2014, 7:57 AM
One of the best CBM's ever! Amazing movie.
Gusto - 5/27/2014, 8:11 AM
It left JoeMomma speechless...

OstrichBane - 5/27/2014, 8:17 AM
Hope we get more Blink, Warpath and Sunspot in some capacity in future films.
And of course they must be portrayed by Fan Bingbing, Booboo Stewart and Adan Canto. Great characters, need more screen time.
JoeMomma29 - 5/27/2014, 8:18 AM
@ Gusto

Man I am one sexy bitch!
McGee - 5/27/2014, 8:20 AM
It also left him sterile.
JoeMomma29 - 5/27/2014, 8:24 AM
@ McGee

Being sterile is a gift, no more having to use condoms with strangers. Heck that saves me some money right there.
Gusto - 5/27/2014, 8:25 AM

Si!
blackandyellow - 5/27/2014, 8:26 AM
McAvoy killed it in this movie. Best lead performance I've seen in a CBM since Tom Hanks in Road to Perdition.
sups92 - 5/27/2014, 8:26 AM
It is one of the best comic book movies ever made, the acting was amazing and the story was great.
campblood - 5/27/2014, 8:28 AM
from a guy who didn't like the last 4 men movies (first class lost its luster after a couple viewings) this was the best of them all
FastFlames - 5/27/2014, 8:31 AM
So good. So good.
McGee - 5/27/2014, 8:32 AM
I think I secretly like the idea of a woman's tubes being tied because it means my soldiers die a horrible death in a maze that never ends. I must be a bad person. :(
JoeMomma29 - 5/27/2014, 8:37 AM
@ McGee

Well better that then killing the population of China with a gym sock!
McGee - 5/27/2014, 8:41 AM
Or a cantaloupe that's been microwaved and then had a hole cut out so it's all warm and mushy--I don't want to have this conversation anymore.
DarthDan - 5/27/2014, 8:45 AM
It was GLORIOUS
Gusto - 5/27/2014, 8:46 AM
You should try a Hot Pocket.
Gusto - 5/27/2014, 8:46 AM
I...ummm...I...I mean nothing.
Moving on.
Gusto - 5/27/2014, 8:52 AM
Ohhh...I can't wait to click that!
McGee - 5/27/2014, 8:57 AM
LMAO!!!

It's not hot unless that pocket has extra sausage!
Pasto - 5/27/2014, 9:03 AM
Make ArronSammy a power user already.
Gusto - 5/27/2014, 9:04 AM

LOL...yuck.
dellamorte1872 - 5/27/2014, 9:37 AM
How is this a good film? Kitty time travels with her powers? Less than a half hour of sentinels? How is this a good adaption? Don't see it to see it. Anyone who knows the real story here will be disappointed
TexasTwoFace - 5/27/2014, 9:38 AM
Well that was a good honest review.
dellamorte1872 - 5/27/2014, 9:39 AM
True x fans (not Singers FOXmen fans) don't give this film credence
JoeMomma29 - 5/27/2014, 9:44 AM
@ dellamorte

The majority of the people on this site who are saying that movie is great (I being one) are not claiming that is a true DOFP story. But the movie itself was very good to say the least and do not get me wrong I personally do not see Ellen Page carry the movie if she traveled back in time.

Also sometimes there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Heck everyone bitched about the long fight sequences in MOS, so imagine if there was a lot of screen time for the Sentinels?
shadearts - 5/27/2014, 9:51 AM
I do have a question

SPOILER.

ok the Future Sentinels were able to defeat the mutants because the got Mystique's DNA and it allowed them to adapt to the mutant's power well the last time I checked Mystique powers only allow her to look like people not there powers that would be Rogue so explain that part to me

END OF SPOILER
JoeMomma29 - 5/27/2014, 10:03 AM
@ Shadearts

They used Mystique's DNA for the ability to adapt not copy powers......it was kind of confusing.
shadearts - 5/27/2014, 10:08 AM
Yeah but the Sentinels were using the mutant's powers against the mutants were they not wasn't that the premise of how they beat the mutants
shadearts - 5/27/2014, 10:11 AM
And once again thats not Mystique's power to adapt thats Darwin's powers. Mystique's power is to look like people
JoeMomma29 - 5/27/2014, 10:12 AM
@ Shadearts

I presume Trask was harvesting certain mutant abilities and he could infuse them into the Sentinels but the Sentinels could not adapt to different mutants hence why he used Mystique's DNA. Now granted it was a far stretch in the movie but that was the reason why they showed Autopsy photos of mutants and how Trask was ahead of his time by being able to isolate DNA of mutants.
dellamorte1872 - 5/27/2014, 10:13 AM
"Hopefully" why even give it credence it's not something you should have to hope for or imbibe for eight more years. Don't let the studio make money off of shitty interpretations. Don't be satisfied with slim pickings.
JoeMomma29 - 5/27/2014, 10:14 AM
@ Shadearts

You have a valid point about Darwin's powers etc.....

Also a certain part of the movie it was said that they used Mystiques powers as the basis for the design......so it was more a foundation to build the Sentinels that could change and adapt who they were fighting etc......

Again you can flip it either way........
dellamorte1872 - 5/27/2014, 10:14 AM
Yes the whole plot reeks of a non-comic fan!
willyburz - 5/27/2014, 10:40 AM
Its an ok movie...some of you saying best ever or top 2 of all time are friggn nuts!
Enphlieuwince - 5/27/2014, 10:48 AM
Della Have you see DoFP yet?
shadearts - 5/27/2014, 10:50 AM
Mystique's power is to change into people sentinel never once change in to someone just adapted to the mutant's powers so the mystique power really shouldn't matter. Where are the Sentinels in X1-3 a senator did get kidnapped and they had active sentinels in the 70's and who finish Trask work since mystique killed him im just bring up theze questions because everyone acting like the movie has no flaws and giving it 5 stars
