We need to see Vader hunting down and killing Jedi. I have dreamed of this since I was a child. It is really the only Vader story I want to see.
Gamera623 - 6/6/2014, 7:47 AM
Didnt get to watch yet (Im at work) so forgive me if this is addressed:

These are great stories....

Its just that unfortunatly Disney has said that the only official Star Wars cannon is the six movies and The Clone Wars animated series.

Grand Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, Jacen & Jaina Solo, the Yuzahaan Vong, the Force Unleashed games, those 2 Ewok Movies.....considered nothing but fan ficton now.

So the chances of thee being a Star Wars movie being based after a comic book or novel instead of being original is slim to none. :(

Man I'm gassy today.

And with those beads she left in there rolling around its like a pair of maracas in a wind tunnel.
KidGoku - 6/6/2014, 7:49 AM
Obi Wan deserves a film. Just to have Ewan back.
Pasto - 6/6/2014, 8:00 AM
Ewan was easily the best Obi-Wan I've ever seen. I'd love to see a solo film revolved around him.
GodzillaKart - 6/6/2014, 8:10 AM
@JorL: Jesus. I'm worried about your flo.

I'd love to see a solo Han film. Perhaps a younger version of him and Lando then toss in him meeting Chewbacca for the first time.

JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 8:12 AM
It's her fault the beads are there !!
JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 8:14 AM
A young Han Solo would be less welcome than Shia ladouche being Indy jr.
Until the (inevitable) remake no one is Han but Harrison

But ewan as middle age obi wan - minus George Lucas - and yeah you've got a great opportunity
RetroFit - 6/6/2014, 8:17 AM
The only way I want to see Darth Vader in another movie is if he's a minor character in the Boba Fett spin-off and we see them hunting down and killing Jedi. I want to see the origins of "No disintegrations!" and Vader in a Godfather role. That's it. The prequels largely killed the character for me.
DrunkenNukem - 6/6/2014, 8:17 AM
....... so 6 movies of him being a young boy, trained by the jedi, then becoming a sith, then Darth Vader, then the most feared men in the universe aren´t enough?...

Stay dead already

Give us something new, its a [frick]ing universe....yet we only see the same characters in every movie...come on!
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:19 AM
I remember when the fan service for Boba Fett took off. I thought it was funny because the guy met the most gruesome death this side of Alderaan.
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:21 AM
@DrunkenNukem - I agree, but Hollywood is afraid that people won't go see it if it's not something they can identify with. Ummm...how about the fact that the title would have STAR WARS in front of it? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that'd be a solid selling point right there don't you think?
RetroFit - 6/6/2014, 8:22 AM
Obi-Wan on Tatooine makes no sense.

- he doesn't even change his last name
- he obviously can't farm in sand so he's probably going in to town at least once a week to get food. WHILE WEARING JEDI ROBES! To a town full of bounty hunters!!
- he whips out a lightsaber in a room full of bounty hunters and NOBODY jumps at the chance to collect the biggest bounty in the UNIVERSE? For the last known surviving Jedi? That's right there? In FRONT OF YOU??

BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:26 AM
@JorL5150 - A young Han Solo film wouldn't be welcome eh? That's your opinion. I can't see sitting through 3 hours of watching Obi Wan walk around on Tatooine trying to figure out what he's going to do while (supposedly) watching over Luke. I mean WTF? He could've had Luke trained to be the greatest Jedi ever, but instead Obi Wan sits hides out and becomes a hermit.

"Oooh here ya go, Yoda. Here's another Skywalker for you. I hope he's not too old hahahaha!!!"
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:29 AM
@RetroFit - Yeah... Some people don't think things through. They sound great in their heads I guess.

Just messing with you, JorL. Maybe you can explain to us how you'd see an Obi Wan film playing out.
DrunkenNukem - 6/6/2014, 8:29 AM
@BlindJustice

Agreed, i don´t mind the old characters like Luke or Han being in next films..as long as they are only "cameos"...they already had their trilogy...let other characters lead the way..

WHERE IS KYLE KATARN!

i would love to see a movie about the Jedi Academy story..with Luke as Jedi master

DrunkenNukem - 6/6/2014, 8:30 AM
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:33 AM
@DrunkenNukem - Oh hell yeah. A Jedi Academy movie would be awesome. I bet we only get a reference or maybe a few scenes of it in the next trilogy though. I agree about having the 'original 3' as background characters. I'm pretty sure that's what will probably happen, given the huge cast that J.J. introduced. I just can't see those three doing much besides being teachers and mentors/parents to the new cast.
McGee - 6/6/2014, 8:36 AM
@RetroFit

LOL!

BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:37 AM
The movie just doesn't need to follow these books...

l0rdleg0las - 6/6/2014, 8:40 AM
Personally I'd be good with no Darth Vader, Yoda or Han solo movies. We got 6 movies of Darth as a main character and an entire trilogy detailing his life before the dark side. With Yoda we know the story over several movies. With Han there isn't much to tell. Expand on characters that didn't have a ton of screentime. Lando would be interesting in how the only black dude and former smuggler in the Universe became the head honcho of Cloud City.
JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 8:41 AM
i'd see obi-wan on missions off tatooine. he doesnt need to be there 24/7.
JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 8:45 AM
and, head's up guys-

we had to kick GUSTO out ARBY's again.
avoid the "horseradish" sauce. it's been...violated.
sKeemAn - 6/6/2014, 8:52 AM
No to Darth Vader. Haven't we had enough in 6 movies. I would watch a young Yoda film. He died when he was 900 I'm sure he's got plenty of story to tell.
DefcoN - 6/6/2014, 8:53 AM
IMO, Darth Vader should be left alone. That character had his cycle in the original trilogy and that's how he should be remember.
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:55 AM
@JorL5150 - I guess Gusto got a little too excited about the 70th Anniversary of D-Day? Geez... Thanks for the head's up!

I heard Gusto had the best job during D-Day though...

McGee - 6/6/2014, 9:17 AM
Horseradish sauce is suppose to taste like ball sweat. You know this whyso.
TowerOfOrthanc - 6/6/2014, 9:23 AM
"that hasbro may have already spoiled"? what are they? i had seen that boba fett might be one of the spin offs but i thought that was only rumor..

this is a huge universe, it'd be neat if they go beyond luke and han and vader, chewie, everyone that's been done. like marka ragnos would be great. add in ajunta pall, naga sadow, etc. that'd be cool to explore all that
JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 9:50 AM
Well Gus said he was experimenting with a proprietary recipe for market testing but looked to me like what he does to the chowder at red lobster (also - avoid the chowder at red lobster if you live anywhere near the upper Midwest- it's been gusto'd )
JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 9:59 AM
Careful up yoss- Gus will take that as an invitation- you'll get the "special all natural homemade " recipe
wookiefit76 - 6/6/2014, 1:24 PM
@ McGee

you beat me to the wookie defense. It does not make sense.
wookiefit76 - 6/6/2014, 1:26 PM
Fett is a great bounty hunter, he's just becoming over used.

and a Vader solo movie makes no sense, because that's what Ep 1-6 basically is.
Cerebro - 6/6/2014, 4:15 PM
[frick] Fett. Supposedly the greatest bounty hunter in the Star wars universe, and he gets accidentally bumped off the deck by a blind man who has been in carbonate, frozen two years. Even though he has a jet pack and grappling hooks he is unable to to get out and help Jaba. The fan love for this guy always confuses me.
Hexagram - 6/6/2014, 7:53 PM
The only thing compelling about a Boba Fett film is the fact that you'd be legitimizing an anti-hero and that could be interesting. Hashtag; playing along with the hacks. ;-P
