We need to see Vader hunting down and killing Jedi. I have dreamed of this since I was a child. It is really the only Vader story I want to see.
Gamera623 - 6/6/2014, 7:47 AM
Didnt get to watch yet (Im at work) so forgive me if this is addressed:

These are great stories....

Its just that unfortunatly Disney has said that the only official Star Wars cannon is the six movies and The Clone Wars animated series.

Grand Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, Jacen & Jaina Solo, the Yuzahaan Vong, the Force Unleashed games, those 2 Ewok Movies.....considered nothing but fan ficton now.

So the chances of thee being a Star Wars movie being based after a comic book or novel instead of being original is slim to none. :(

Man I'm gassy today.

And with those beads she left in there rolling around its like a pair of maracas in a wind tunnel.

Obi Wan deserves a film. Just to have Ewan back.
Pasto - 6/6/2014, 8:00 AM
Ewan was easily the best Obi-Wan I've ever seen. I'd love to see a solo film revolved around him.
GodzillaKart - 6/6/2014, 8:10 AM
@JorL: Jesus. I'm worried about your flo.

I'd love to see a solo Han film. Perhaps a younger version of him and Lando then toss in him meeting Chewbacca for the first time.

JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 8:12 AM
It's her fault the beads are there !!
JorL5150 - 6/6/2014, 8:14 AM
A young Han Solo would be less welcome than Shia ladouche being Indy jr.
Until the (inevitable) remake no one is Han but Harrison

But ewan as middle age obi wan - minus George Lucas - and yeah you've got a great opportunity

The only way I want to see Darth Vader in another movie is if he's a minor character in the Boba Fett spin-off and we see them hunting down and killing Jedi. I want to see the origins of "No disintegrations!" and Vader in a Godfather role. That's it. The prequels largely killed the character for me.
DrunkenNukem - 6/6/2014, 8:17 AM
....... so 6 movies of him being a young boy, trained by the jedi, then becoming a sith, then Darth Vader, then the most feared men in the universe aren´t enough?...

Stay dead already

Give us something new, its a [frick]ing universe....yet we only see the same characters in every movie...come on!
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:19 AM
I remember when the fan service for Boba Fett took off. I thought it was funny because the guy met the most gruesome death this side of Alderaan.
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:21 AM
@DrunkenNukem - I agree, but Hollywood is afraid that people won't go see it if it's not something they can identify with. about the fact that the title would have STAR WARS in front of it? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that'd be a solid selling point right there don't you think?
RetroFit - 6/6/2014, 8:22 AM
Obi-Wan on Tatooine makes no sense.

- he doesn't even change his last name
- he obviously can't farm in sand so he's probably going in to town at least once a week to get food. WHILE WEARING JEDI ROBES! To a town full of bounty hunters!!
- he whips out a lightsaber in a room full of bounty hunters and NOBODY jumps at the chance to collect the biggest bounty in the UNIVERSE? For the last known surviving Jedi? That's right there? In FRONT OF YOU??

BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:26 AM
@JorL5150 - A young Han Solo film wouldn't be welcome eh? That's your opinion. I can't see sitting through 3 hours of watching Obi Wan walk around on Tatooine trying to figure out what he's going to do while (supposedly) watching over Luke. I mean WTF? He could've had Luke trained to be the greatest Jedi ever, but instead Obi Wan sits hides out and becomes a hermit.

"Oooh here ya go, Yoda. Here's another Skywalker for you. I hope he's not too old hahahaha!!!"
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:29 AM
@RetroFit - Yeah... Some people don't think things through. They sound great in their heads I guess.

Just messing with you, JorL. Maybe you can explain to us how you'd see an Obi Wan film playing out.
DrunkenNukem - 6/6/2014, 8:29 AM

Agreed, i don´t mind the old characters like Luke or Han being in next long as they are only "cameos"...they already had their trilogy...let other characters lead the way..

i would love to see a movie about the Jedi Academy story..with Luke as Jedi master

DrunkenNukem - 6/6/2014, 8:30 AM
BlindJustice - 6/6/2014, 8:33 AM
@DrunkenNukem - Oh hell yeah. A Jedi Academy movie would be awesome. I bet we only get a reference or maybe a few scenes of it in the next trilogy though. I agree about having the 'original 3' as background characters. I'm pretty sure that's what will probably happen, given the huge cast that J.J. introduced. I just can't see those three doing much besides being teachers and mentors/parents to the new cast.
