I hope Marvel stops using the Infinity Stones as an excuse for coincidence. It doesn't happen all the time but it did happen a few times in GOTG.
Doopie - 8/11/2014, 7:48 AM
I'd want the reality gem so that we could live in a world where Michael Bay didn't exist

Honestly, I never watch the full poscast because my days are so busy but these short, 5-10 minute videos are my absolute favorite! Do more. Please!
CPBuff22 - 8/11/2014, 7:52 AM
FANTASTIC! I really do love these videos. And this one I am sure to shoot out to all the friends who seen all these movies but are too stubborn to read the Infinity Gauntlet series.

I see Turk is desperate.

Reply to my comment bitch, you know you want to.
kinghulk - 8/11/2014, 7:58 AM
turk go and troll somewhere else.
Jwe75 - 8/11/2014, 8:02 AM
great video!

I believe we get to see Time-gem in AOU. I mean, it really appears to go that way... based on that scene where Stark stands and is rounded by "dead" Avengers? Let's see eee eee eee ;)
0megaDaGod - 8/11/2014, 8:04 AM
Why didn't Turk screengrab all his comments saying the movie was gonna suck and fail?

I thought James Gunn was shitting in his pants?
ImTheCaptainOfThisShip - 8/11/2014, 8:09 AM
Love the podcast.
Arrowhead77 - 8/11/2014, 8:11 AM
I see Turk is an equal opportunity Troll. Trolls DC and Marvel threads...
CookieKid247 - 8/11/2014, 8:15 AM
@Kjo0212 When I first saw the movie my feelings were "liked it but didn't love it" and after seeing it a second time I have to say I love it now. To answer your question, the Infinity Stones for me are artifacts only people like Thanos and Ronan and The Collector should have. In the beginning of GOTG, Star-Lord finds the Infinity Stone which brings the Guardians together. I would've liked the Infinity Stone to be less of a dues ex machina and more of an objective.
JoeMomma29 - 8/11/2014, 8:16 AM
Well I got to hand it Turk for being unbiased on his trolling.
Klone - 8/11/2014, 8:17 AM
What if Turk is an agent of Image sent to undermine both DC and Marvel? What if an evil takeover is imminent!?
McNyagano - 8/11/2014, 8:17 AM
Malekith created the Aether as said in Thor 2 but in GOTG, The Collector said they came before the big bang when nothing else existed. So does that contradict the Aether's origin?
TheRealRemyLebeau - 8/11/2014, 8:17 AM
Doubt Loki's staff was the mind gem/stone until more evidence is given. The only time there was a infinity gem that were similar in color meaning two shades of blue is when there was a 7th infinity gem introduced in the comicbooks. At the moment the Tesseract is Blue and Loki's staff stone was blue. If the tesseract is the space stone then who is it to say that it could not space an individuals mind and body and the staff with loki's magic didn't control individuals. The tesseract has shown us that it is capable of being a power source so maybe it powered Loki's staff. The Mind Gem grants the wielder telekinesis abilities, upgrades the mind and powers of wielder and his host. Loki was not upgraded nor were his subjects. Need more evidence.

Klone - 8/11/2014, 8:18 AM
Arrow, JM... FOOLS! Your lack of concern will be the catalyst for our downfall!
akidnamedcesar - 8/11/2014, 8:18 AM
Was listening to to it this morning.
WinterSoldier33 - 8/11/2014, 8:18 AM
Thanos should be the villain in thor 3 , GOTG, and avengers 3 to lead to a team up movie
Klone - 8/11/2014, 8:18 AM
@Nya

Given how Thor 2 was nothing but useless filler and Malekith made the [frick]ing Lizard look good by comparison, I doubt they give much of a shit about a minor contradiction.
xinstituto - 8/11/2014, 8:22 AM
In my opinion, the soul stone will be shown in Dr Strange movie.
CookieKid247 - 8/11/2014, 8:22 AM
They need to set the Infinity Stone origins and powers....in stone

slickrickdesigns - 8/11/2014, 8:22 AM
@CookieKid247
Are you not paying attention to the MCU? The infinity Stones and Thanos are what everything is building up to and tying the MCU together. Why would you want them to stop?

I just don't get how they will fit everything else into the Phase 3 as we still need to see 3 more infinity stones and introduce some key characters who can put up a real fight with Thanos. I wish we could've seen Thanos beat up on Ronan a little in GOTG. I guess we will see what happens in AOU as far where the MCU is heading for phase 3.

yossarian - 8/11/2014, 8:23 AM
I didn't watch the video. Was the location "in my pants"? Because it should have been.
JoeMomma29 - 8/11/2014, 8:24 AM
Hey if you want to know how it all leads up to the Infinity Stones just ask McNya how it all turns out!
JoeMomma29 - 8/11/2014, 8:24 AM
@ Yoss

Liar! You do not even wear pants..........
TheRealRemyLebeau - 8/11/2014, 8:24 AM
@McN I don't recall Malekith ever creating the Aether. If I'm not mistaken he was on his way to retrieving the aether during the battle prologue at the beginning of Thor 2 vs Asgard and Borr. Borr defeated the dark elves and sealed the aether.
kinghulk - 8/11/2014, 8:25 AM
mcnya- perhaps malekeith is the reason the aether is liquid.
CookieKid247 - 8/11/2014, 8:26 AM
@slickrickdesigns
I don't want them to stop I just don't want EVERY upcoming Marvel movie to have the Infinity Stones because then the films will be seen more as a Thanos build-up and less like good stand-alone movies.
kinghulk - 8/11/2014, 8:27 AM
therealremy- i dont recall it being stated he created it. and malekeith was going to retrieve the aether because the convergence was about to begin.
MercwithMouth - 8/11/2014, 8:28 AM
@McNyagano

It could be that Odin did not know that it was created before. May not be a known history to the Asgardians as it is to the Collector.
MercwithMouth - 8/11/2014, 8:31 AM
@CookieKid247

It IS all one big build-up. Thanos is the end game. That's where the connectivity will come from.
ckal - 8/11/2014, 8:37 AM
@mcnyagano

No it doesn't because IIRC Malekith said he ruled the universe before this one. When it was only darkness. That would preclude the Big Bang.

Btw, why the [frick] do villains always want 'only darkness' and want to blow up the universe or galaxy that they live in? Jesus christ how about a villain who likes normal things for once? How in the hell do you even see anything or live in 'only darkness'?

SmellofDuty - 8/11/2014, 8:37 AM
@WinterSoldier33 I think he should be present in most phase 3 films. Collecting the infinity stones throughout the phase. But I don't think he should be the main villain in all of them maybe a couple like the ones you said. He should have a bigger role than he has, but still should be a force working behind the scenes.
