I know that most likely Jonathan Crane won't show up in TDKR, but with this prison break from Blackgate it would be awesome to see a cameo of him making a run for it :)
StingrayX - 7/30/2011, 6:16 PM
I wish movies would be filmed in my town...but barley anybody knows about it...it's only the largest city above Sacramento in Cali. lol

And we have a world known landmark.
dilldog - 7/30/2011, 6:18 PM
Michel bay must of guest Directed that day
Niuhll - 7/30/2011, 6:22 PM
I'd love to see some little cameos during the escape, i mean he had Zsasz in there, minus the carvings.
TheDesertGorilla - 7/30/2011, 6:25 PM
EXPLOSIONS!!! YES!!!!
Niuhll - 7/30/2011, 6:27 PM
In Begins i mean, not this one...yet.
Ranger14 - 7/30/2011, 6:33 PM
Spectacular and massive might not be quite the right terms to use, but to each their own.

What's up with a prison building with no fence or gates around it in the middle of the a city? Bare minimum security facility?
Joker08 - 7/30/2011, 6:37 PM
They start handing the inmates guns at the end of that video... Interesting :)

Hey, does anyone know if Liam Neeson has been confirmed for this? I know there were reports that stated he was spotted on set.
Joker08 - 7/30/2011, 6:40 PM
@Ranger14: A prison in the middle of the city, no fence and that - it's not a far-fetched concept by any means. There's a on just like it in Chicago, right by my apartment.
nailbiter111 - 7/30/2011, 6:47 PM
@joker liam neeson has been spotted on the set in the past, no lately. i think he was seen during the filming in india.

btw thanks for everyone for the kind words. :)
NeoBaggins - 7/30/2011, 6:58 PM
@Joker08 And that building as well as the surrounding area, looks almost identical to the Oakland county Jail. There's a Mexican restaurant, tattoo parlor, you name it. It's down town. Besides, the final product probably won't even resemble the building in the video. It will be unrecognizable.
Niuhll - 7/30/2011, 7:09 PM
@Neobaggins exactly, you probs won't even see much past that ground level.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 7/30/2011, 7:12 PM
It's about time I see an explosion.
Tainted87 - 7/30/2011, 7:18 PM
@StingrayX
Redding is quite nice this time of the year, but try finding a single building downtown that is over ten floors tall.
Joker08 - 7/30/2011, 7:25 PM
@NeoBeggins: Exactly. I mean, I understand where the confusion may come from - for the longest time I thought every prison looked like Alcatrez. But the "Metropolitan Correctional Center," as it's called, in Chicago is right in the heart of the city. And yeah, I doubt we'll even get more than a few shots of the prison facade anyway in the final film.
PoPcornDude - 7/30/2011, 7:28 PM

the first video is meh....
my toaster makes more smoke than that....
superbatspiderman - 7/30/2011, 7:45 PM
They should definitely have a Joker cameo. They don't even need to show him they could just let us hear him say "do you wann know where I got these scars" to someone in Arkham. This movie is gonna be epic and Bane is gonna be the coolest villain of all time.
WingPow - 7/30/2011, 8:25 PM
is anyone else thinking the plot will resemble Knightfall?
dahamma - 7/30/2011, 8:48 PM
@Grif lolol wow man I agree with you
darkbeefstakes - 7/30/2011, 8:50 PM
This is what the bane mask should look like.
file:
Macksimus - 7/30/2011, 8:59 PM
looks like Bane was passing out pictures of certain prisoners...maybe Dent, Joker, Scarecrow, etc...

Tainted87 - 7/30/2011, 9:17 PM
@Wingpow
Somewhat, but I think we're going to get more of a No Man's Land.
And as I highly doubt Batman is going to get a fractured spinal column, the conclusion of this trilogy will more or less have Batman rise to hero status, or at least be acknowledged by Gotham as a "necessary evil".
Macksimus - 7/30/2011, 9:21 PM
@intruder

You never know. Hopefully he breaks out somebody familiar and not just a bunch of random thugs.
batmanrises - 7/30/2011, 9:21 PM
Bat fever! Catch it! or eat a dick! Either one...I don't care...
CrossOver - 7/30/2011, 9:28 PM
@darkbeefstakes - Cant see it. upload with tinypic or something.

Thats dope. I found it funny when all the prisoners raised their hands like 5th graders. hahaha
nailbiter111 - 7/30/2011, 9:33 PM
just added a new image of the blackgate prison plaque mentioning harvey dent
Action - 7/30/2011, 9:47 PM
YES! I'm so glad Nolan is getting deeper into the DC world by showing blackgate prison.
AsianVersionOfET - 7/30/2011, 9:55 PM
Yeah that plaque is sweet! I want I want!
AsianVersionOfET - 7/30/2011, 9:55 PM

alucard365 - 7/30/2011, 9:58 PM
DEDICATED MARCH 2010 TO DISTRICT ATTORNEY HARVEY DENT FOR HIS COMMITTED SERVICE TO PROTECT GOTHAM CITY. Batman deserve's that plaque ! ! ! ! !
Tainted87 - 7/30/2011, 9:59 PM
All those extras look SO enthused. It's like they're there for jury duty.
KilledHal9000 - 7/30/2011, 10:15 PM
we know this movie must take place in 2010 or 2011, I wonder when Batman Begins and the Dark Knight took place then. I know they took place 6 months apart. Scarecrow better make an appearance in this film, or I will be upset.
Shunt - 7/30/2011, 10:31 PM
@Niuhil.... Zsasz had carvings on his skin in Batman Begins.. if you look closely you can see the tally marks on his neck, and i think his forearm as well...

alucard365 - 7/30/2011, 10:36 PM
This movie is going to be the shit, i can't wait.
jazzman - 7/31/2011, 3:37 AM
@Intruder - "I feel like the name of that prison is extremely racist."

what about the character Black Mask thats sort of racist think about it Black Mask = Blackface LMAO
jazzman - 7/31/2011, 4:37 AM
@EvilEye

but ra's al ghul is mention in The Dark Knight Rises
goldenavenger77 - 7/31/2011, 4:39 AM
@ KilledHal9000

From Batman Begins to The Dark Knight it's roughly a year or more cause The Joker says "Let's wind the clocks back a year. These cops and lawyers wouldn't dare cross any of you." when The mob bosses are assembled together, videoconferencing with Lau, referring to the appearance of Batman.

What I found on the internet.

In the teaser trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" It seems as if it takes place a few years or so after The Dark Knight, Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) is on a hospital bed in bad shape. He is breathing through an oxygen tank "You were gone. Now there is evil rising. The Batman must come back."
Niuhll - 7/31/2011, 7:52 AM
@shunt oh yeah! Never spotted them before, cheers man, guess I was expecting them on his head etc
marvel72 - 7/31/2011, 7:55 AM

farrah045 - 7/31/2011, 8:24 AM
