THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Halloween Costume for The Lizard

Disguise.com has revealed incredibly detailed images of The Lizard costume for Marc Webb's new Spider-man movie. If this is the final look of The Lizard, it means no snout and no lab coat.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

I guess their not using the snout and going more with the original Steve Ditko look which, though I am more partial of the snout, I think that this actually looks pretty nice so I am really looking forward to it. Although I really wished he had his lab coat.

Sounds like people are trying hard to not really admit that this just looks stupid. Just admit it - Spidey's costume looks dumb and the Lizard looks just as corny

I figure The Lizard will become into a full lizard near the end of the movie. Also, i think the lizard will wear his labcoat, but in the beginning and just ends up ripping it right away.

I have a theroy on why one hand has 4 fingers and one has 5. In the movie Dr.Connors regrows his hand with the lizard formula so that hand end up being like a Lizards with 4 fingers as seen in the trailer when that hand rips through the car and the other has five when that scene of him in a toilet breaking out happens. I think that is cool,and btw I really like the non snout and coat both would look lame I feel always prefered Ditkos version more humanoid.

@Mort Far as that actual quote, there is no more. That's the whole thing. As far as "praising" Bane, you'll find NONE of that either. I'm anticipating a unique villain based on what I've seen, but no where on this site will you find me making absolute verdicts about any film I have not yet seen- even this one that doesn't look so good.

Also, in your article, there is no "Nolan praise" either. Everything you THINK you know about me you have assumed. You don't know what I think about Christopher Nolan.

It's a shame they didn't keep the lab coat, trousers and shirt look. Would've look a lot more interesting and stood out from other lizard man-type things a la Mario Bros etc. However, the face design is cool and a bit Ditko. But when I think of Ditko's design there is always the clothes too.

I got to say, the newest trailer really warmed me up on this movie, but I CANNOT STAND THE WAY THE LIZARDS FACE LOOKS!! Everything that I have seen from merch to the trailer, I just freaking HATE IT!!!
