Awesome piece of artwork inspired by Bruce Timm's Batman: The Animated Series. I Just wish the artist had created more characters from Nolan's universe, but I'm sure that will come in due time. Also, it makes me wonder if the Nolan Batman universe could make for a good animated cartoon. What am I thinking, of course it would. This is Nolan were talking about, everything he touches turns to gold.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

Very Nice, I look so 4ward to the live action movie of The Dark Knight Rises bittersweet for me because it is on the way & will be here but it is the final chapter but I am mostly excited! :)

Not saying it's bad, but it is kind of weird that Nolan's Catwoman resembles Julie Newmar's style more than anything.

I don't think anything else ever comes close to looking like the Adam West Batman. The two are polar opposites, yet Nolan still finds a way to nod to it with the lack of cowl.

Once Nolan is done, I hope the minds behind the 90s animated series or the Arkham games will take over. They're still my favorite renditions of Batman and his universe...

Sorry nothing can be done to help that HORRIBLE Catwoman!! That Cat suit and Bane ,make me question the hell out of this movie! I mean what the hell is going on in Nolan’s head. He started out so good!! This is going to be like the 3rd Spiderman movie. Trying to do too much, and messing it all up. I may not go see this one just so I can still love his last two Bat flicks. That Bane pick above is nice, only Nolan’s bane look like a lil Hobbit bane!Batman 60's TV show Cat Woman? Rally?! That was a joke then and it is now!!

Love it. Still not sold on the heels though. Nolan spends so much time and effort making everything in his Batman universe have purpose and have an effective use; what the hell sort of purpose do spike heels serve? She'll snap her ankle the second she starts to sprint after someone.

Am I the only one that feels, after seeing the bruce timm versions of these characters, especially the ones posted bt JDUKE25 above, that Bruce Timm should make another animated batman show with these characters. The art is great. If this were a show, it'dbe top notch. Bane, joker and batman look boss as shit. Even scarecorw.

Bruce Timm Style can make almost anything look good, she looks great....

still don't see catwoman anywhere, but she does look great.

@suspensesmith: Couldn't agree more. I like the art they found, it's very nice. The costume looks stupid and juvenile. I think they made a big mistake with both Bane and, to a lesser extent, Catwoman in this movie. The Arkham City Catwoman looks awesome. The costume appears functional and sexy. No idea why that's not in the movie.

That's nicely done.

I'm going to wait to see Anne Hathaway in the full costume on film before I make any final judgements.

Maybe the costume will look much better on film than the set photos and that official still we got.

I love how people keep talking about how difficult it will be to move in high heels, and yet, dancers have been doing difficult and acrobatic moves in high heels for, what, two centuries now?
