If anyone was wandering where the Hyena, Zebra and Orangutan on the lifeboat was....like i at first....you can see a brief glimpse of the Hyena when Pi takes a peek under the boat cover and is faced with a roaring Tiger. Interesting visuals...i'll give this movie a look!

Looks cool, might be a tear jerker, the tiger looked incredible. And also what else has Ang
Lee made that made him an academy award winner, cause I know it wasn't HULK.

I don't like PI.

I like cake. or pudding. or sometimes cake and pudding together.

kevberg - 7/25/2012, 4:58 AM

^^^^Wow, and apparently The Ice Storm which was a fcuking GREAT movie...didn't know he was so diverse...
nailbiter111 - 7/25/2012, 9:01 AM
to me Ice Storm is his best film.
Godzillafart - 7/25/2012, 9:08 AM
@nailbiter111: I agree! It was because of Ice Storm that I thought he would bring real drama to Hulk...we all know how that turned out.

This looks cool. I liked the book.
YOUNGBL00D - 7/25/2012, 9:25 AM
He did bring drama to the hulk, ALOT OF DRAMA
IIIAdamantiumIII - 7/25/2012, 9:30 AM

HelaGood - 7/25/2012, 9:44 AM
why is this on CBM? because the director directed a crappy version of the Hulk?

this is a stretch...
jimoakley666 - 7/25/2012, 9:48 AM
Not a CBM, but that looks beautiful.
darkjoker1 - 7/25/2012, 10:40 AM

kingshnake - 7/25/2012, 12:26 PM
I'm done going to the cinema to feel sorry for Indian people
JazzBebopHero - 7/25/2012, 12:40 PM
I will see this. It's going to be some good "out of the box cinema" that I love seeing. And knowing Ang Lee, it should be pretty good.
yaktheripper - 7/25/2012, 1:31 PM
"I'm done going to the cinema to feel sorry for Indian people"
Wow...super ignorant. Maybe try going to the library to read an amazing book...dork.

This is one of the few books I've had an opportunity to read before there were talks of a movie adaptation. Originally I was excited to hear that there was going to be a Life of Pi film, but after seeing the trailer I'm afraid all the visuals that I imagined will be ruined.

I'm not one of those guys that bitches and moans when books are adapted to film because I think its a great way to bring good storytelling to people who would otherwise be unaware.
