The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray November 9th.

funny stuff. I pray that the sequel isn't as shit as this movie
RorMachine - 11/2/2012, 8:46 AM
lol, that was a good one indeed.
DrHorrible - 11/2/2012, 8:52 AM
This wasn't one of their best. Most, if not all of the stuff they listed looks ridiculous out of context, but works fine in the actual movie.
RedeyeJedi - 11/2/2012, 8:53 AM
Yeah, that was pretty damn funny.I'd like to see one for TDKR next.
RorMachine - 11/2/2012, 8:56 AM
I thought their Prometheus one was the laugh-out-loud funniest though.
DrHorrible - 11/2/2012, 8:56 AM
I personally liked their Prometheus, Twilight, and Hunger Games ones. Much funnier.
Odin - 11/2/2012, 8:57 AM
This and how-it-should-have-ended are telling exactly how I feld about this movie.
UniBeam11 - 11/2/2012, 9:00 AM
My Milkshake brings all the boys to the yard..HAHAHAHAHA, love honest trailers
IgnurRant - 11/2/2012, 9:02 AM
That was pretty funny. Pretty much all th reasons why I didn't watch it in theatres. Garfield loks freat as SpiderMan and they really seemed to have caught the spirit but the trailers felt likema total re hash. Nothing felt new. I can wait for the redbox or netflix.
jingorot - 11/2/2012, 9:03 AM

JonathaNisMagnuM - 11/2/2012, 9:29 AM
LMAO way to show actual proof/side by side comparison that TASM was a re-hash of the Raimi 2002 film

ATrueHero1987 - 11/2/2012, 9:30 AM

GoILL - 11/2/2012, 9:37 AM
LOL this was some funny shit just like the Dark Knight and Avengers trailers were. Looking forward to see what they do with Dark Knight Rises.
sciencefriction - 11/2/2012, 9:40 AM
Hilarious, and spot on. The sequel is going to be far worse though, can't wait for the Honest Trailer for that.
Mercwitham0uth - 11/2/2012, 9:51 AM

BigEars - 11/2/2012, 10:03 AM
Such a perfect Honest Trailer lol...
The movie was a disappointing mess, anyone who really believes otherwise must do because their happy 2 get Spidey back on the big screen again...
SageMode - 11/2/2012, 10:03 AM
I can't wait till they do one for TDKR.

(Twitching mustache)
ATrueHero1987 - 11/2/2012, 10:07 AM
^^^One of the reasons I'm ready to see one for TDKR is to see how a certain someone will react. I know he's going to be shittin when that one comes out.lol
Funsize - 11/2/2012, 10:12 AM
I would have liked the movie a lot better if it wasnt a reboot and if the Raimi trilogy never existed. Oh and yes I can't for the DKR one :)
DrHorrible - 11/2/2012, 10:20 AM
@JonathaNisMagnuM Why does it seem like you're trying to pick a fight with people for no reason? Stop trying to instigate people.
Azrael725 - 11/2/2012, 10:21 AM
the comments at the end were way funnier!!! i just about fell out of my chair!
Mucklefluga - 11/2/2012, 10:22 AM
So True!!!
superotherside - 11/2/2012, 10:28 AM
Hahahha. Actually I agree with everything they said there. Although, Garfield did play Spidey a bit better, there were times I wasn't sure if I wanted to laugh out loud or cry that they didn't do it better. Especially the end, I mean the end not only didn't make ANY sense in that he could have defeated the Lizard a dozen ways without getting Cap Stacy killed, it was totally rushed. They should have done it similar to the comics. Also him not having his mask on was slightly strange too. I mean seriously he took it off more then the first Spidey did!

GoILL - 11/2/2012, 10:33 AM
I'm actually surprised that the responses in the comments are pretty tame in comparison to the Avengers honest trailer were and what I expect the Dark Knight Rises one to be.
Edmundo - 11/2/2012, 10:33 AM
It was funny but still not their best. TDK and Avatar I thin were better. Looking forward to their next one
DrHorrible - 11/2/2012, 10:40 AM
@JonathaNisMagnuM Yet it seems like you're the one who makes the negative statement about the movie and then challenges anyone who likes the movie to try to defend it or attack you regarding it. It seems like you're instigating something to me.

Also, the way you generalize the people (or at least it seems that way) who like the movie as "angry Webb-heads" is just petty. Not everyone who likes the movie is like that. I know I'm not.

I'm not trying to pick a fight with you. I'm just calling it as I see it. I could be wrong. I could be right. It doesn't really matter.
JonathaNisMagnuM - 11/2/2012, 10:48 AM
@DRHorrible I looked at my comment & make no invitation whatsoever to anybody. & the users I refer to as "Webb-Heads" they know who they are & so does everybody else. You like this movie, thats you. I think we've spoken before that you can admit it's flawed, but you still enjoyed the film. All in all it doesnt change the fact that most of the comments on this thread complain about the film.

& like you, I'm not trying to pick a fight w/ anyone either, I'm calling it like I see. The video alone shares the gathered opinions of most. So the way I see it, this movie wasnt amazing at all. You don't have to agree, & thats fine
SLK - 11/2/2012, 11:25 AM
Everything is true. TASM was shit.
AutobotCommander84 - 11/2/2012, 12:07 PM
I'll admit it, Sony did it to hold onto the rights. That still doesn't mean anything in terms of the film's quality. All non-Marvel produced films were on a time clock even before Disney bought them. But since they were bought, it just means that the other studios have to get these films out more quickly than before. If Sony wants to keep the rights, why shouldn't they? Because, "Marvel will do the characters more justice."? Bullshit. My proof? The non-Asian Mandarin with ten rings that are not of Makluan origin. So please, stop giving Sony crap for making a good movie with a solid director at the helm who understands these characters better than anyone Marvel would probably hire for a Spider-Man film. The only other director who I think would do Spidey justice is Matthew Vaughn. But other than him, not even James Cameron, could do him justice.
Spidey31 - 11/2/2012, 12:13 PM
Incoming more haters arriving
Hulksmash77 - 11/2/2012, 12:21 PM
TASM was crap. The raimi movies were cheesier, especially by today's standards, but Uncle Ben's death was a million times better.
TASM tried too hard to be different, in the areas is shouldn't have been. While miserably failing to be exactly the same in ways we all didn't want it to be.
SERIOUSLY, another sympathetic villain???
they had to go with Lizard???

Toshitheshadow - 11/2/2012, 12:37 PM
Aahahahahah!! You can clearly see from this trailer that these guys are desperately trying to find bad things to say. Wow!! IF the Amazing Spider-man had this many things, I wonder what the WHOLE OF RAIMI's TRILOGY will have.
Godzillafart - 11/2/2012, 12:39 PM
That was hilarious.

@Hulksmash77: Incorrect.

I would love to see every clip of Bale speaking in his Bat-voice edited together into one long clip. I think it might be funnier than the Winnebago Man.
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/2/2012, 12:47 PM
I always knew Emma Stone and Lindsay Lohan were look a likes......Emma's hotter as of right now.

Now onto The Dark Knight Rises!
AutobotCommander84 - 11/2/2012, 1:12 PM
@Toshitheshadow Name all of the flaws of the Raimi films? Give me a couple of hours...
Toshitheshadow - 11/2/2012, 1:18 PM
@AutobotCommander84 ahaahahhahaahha!!!(LOL) I bet you'd still miss out some even if you had the whole day.
Tufasrox - 11/2/2012, 1:22 PM
I think even THIS trailer made this piece of trash look good.
IronSpider101 - 11/2/2012, 1:24 PM
I've always thought the criticism that Raimi's films were cheesy was odd.

Because that was the intent. It was tongue in cheek, attempting (successfully I'd say) to imitate the same sort of charm that the first Superman had. That scene in Spider-Man 2 where he tells the kids to stop playing in the streets? Hilarious. Actual kids watching the movie will look at Spider-Man as a charming hero, and the older audience laughs at the sort of self-satire going on there.

I didn't like TASM, and I weep for its future. Hopefully it can pull something good together. I have 3 Spider-Man movies that I love, and that's all I need. I hope those dissatisfied finally get the Spider-Man that they want, like I did.
thefirstavenger97 - 11/2/2012, 1:36 PM
TASM was actually pretty good I liked it better than Spider-Man 3. And to name what's wrong with Raimi's trilogy, venom, goblin's armor, Harry getting amnesia, his butler telling him his dad died by his own glider, Kristen Dunst, aunt May is to old, Sandman killing uncle Ben and the Doc Ock final battle scene.
I think that's good enough. That only took 5 min.
