This is a fan made compilation of all The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey trailers and TV spots, including: Announcement trailer, Announcement trailer (G), Trailer 1, TV Spot 1 - 7, UK 1 minute TV spot, Japanese 1 minute TV Spot. Shots and sequences have been re-ordered into the possible running order of the final film. The audio can be choppy in places as original trailer background music overlaps much of the dialogue.

The Hobbit is an upcoming two-part epic fantasy film directed by Peter Jackson. It is a film adaptation of the 1937 novel of the same name by J. R. R. Tolkien and prequel to The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Jackson, director of The Lord of the Rings, returns as director of the film and also serves as producer and co-writer. The film will star Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins and Richard Armitage, known for playing Lucas North in the BBC drama series Spooks, as Thorin Oakenshield. Several actors from Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy will reprise their roles, including Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee, Ian Holm, Elijah Wood, and Orlando Bloom. Additionally, composer Howard Shore, who wrote the score for The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, has confirmed his role in both parts of the film project. The two parts, entitled The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again, are being filmed back to back and are currently in production in New Zealand; principal photography began on March 21, 2011. They are scheduled to be released on December 14, 2012 and December 13, 2013, respectively.

@ FF

If that's really how you feel, then why waste your time even clicking on the article? I don't see Twilight articles and go "oh, I hate Twilight, better sign in and comment about how much I hate it and blah blah blah". People are "fagggits" for seeing the next film in an extremely successful franchise that you (for whatever odd reason) dislike? Makes sense -_-

I'm ready!!! Can't wait to return to Middle-Earth!
GLprime2814 - 11/21/2012, 8:47 AM

loved the book, so I'm interested what scenes they used and how much they use for the first movie ^^ I mean cmon it was a pretty short book and they're making three movies, so there has to be some new stuff in it!

God I love Martin Freeman. @FF, we prefer the term cock smuggler
DrRockso - 11/21/2012, 9:05 AM
Btw, how do you pronounce fagggits?

the movie is almost 3 hours long. I hardly consider 7 minutes of footage to be watching too much. Besides if you've read the book you already know the whole story anyway

The person that put this video together did a great job! Cool video.

@ DrRockso: *Shrugs* fag-guh-guh-eets...?

That was pretty cool. I love that song Oakenshield sings.

Iv'e really wanted to get into LOTR and middle-earth, but it reminds me too much of those awful renaissance fairs I had to go to as a kid, the music is weird and is like Titanic, no one shaves, there's a bunch of little vulcan kids and old fat gross midgets who probably molest them, it's like someone just copied aspects of the middle ages with the horses, armor and castles, then made it fantasy by giving everyone oddly gay names, making up a new calendar and making some cheap creature designs, all the women strangely glow like a light bulb and talk like a horny computer, it's so bloody long, so much god damn walking, I hate the primitive stone-age technology, and I have absolutely no idea where or when any of it is taking place. Star Wars is better in every way. But I'll try to watch the Hobbit with an open mind and take it seriously since I really want to be a fan of this franchise since I feel like I'm missing out and if I become a fan, I'll have like 18 hours of content to enjoy and The Hobbit prequels will compensate for the rape of the Star Wars prequels.

That was really awesome! Thank you whoever took the time to make this, and thank you whoever posted it! This is going to be awesome starting from the great trailers that are attached to this to the multiple viewings I'll be going to!

See, " themcdougalbugle " is complaining in a much more coherent way. @FF, take notes. He's listing his complaints and reasoning for them, even citing a possible source for his perception of them. Well done! All he needs now is to be informed of the subject matter and he could be a fan. Or not. Doesn't matter.

Point is, FF, you need to grow up. I'm gonna call you Tom, cause you're trolling all over this board. (See what I did there Hobbit fans??!?) lol
themcdougalbugle - 11/21/2012, 1:54 PM
Thanks Super12. While I still can't consider myself a fan at this moment of Tolkien's legendarium, as mentioned, despite the grudges that I may not be able to overlook, I am still seeing The Hobbit. Even if I didn't want to, I would anyway since there's gonna be a trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness, 9 minutes of it, and a trailer for Man of Steel, but I appreciate the way you used my comment as a reference.
SuperSomething616 - 11/22/2012, 8:11 AM
Good effort...probably took him a while to do this...dont see why one could not just wait for the film to come out mind...

@themcdougalbugle
