The third image, the second drawing concept art looks very alien like with an almost predatory sense to it.
villain001 - 11/29/2012, 5:14 PM
what a horrible movie
YesOffence - 11/29/2012, 5:14 PM
"Do you think the final version that Tom Hardy was best, or would you have preferred one of the designs from below?"
Well considering this is comicbookmovie.com people would have hated the mask regardless because they have to hate something

Funsize - 11/29/2012, 5:15 PM
Amazing photos!!! All this looks really good!!!
Preston - 11/29/2012, 5:17 PM

The TRUTH (everything that you need to know about this movie):

8 Minutes, and it's better than the movie.
armagedom - 11/29/2012, 5:19 PM
worst movie ever don't agree with me go and [frick] yourself
wb sucks!!!
marvel72 - 11/29/2012, 5:19 PM
should of gone full mask,it would of look miles better than the jock strap/bondage gag ball look. :D

@ levitikuz

that's right our own opinion of the movie is all that matters, who gives a f*ck if others don't like how i/we feel.
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 11/29/2012, 5:20 PM
No, I HATE this mask. I HATE this movie too. Why can't a director get batman right, sob, why, why, sob, bring on the reboot. And if i HATE that reboot, reboot that reboot, sob. And if the reboot's reboot disappoints me, reboot that reboot's reboot sob.

Lmao.

That's how i read most comments nowadays :P
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 11/29/2012, 5:22 PM
Ladies.. Children.. Sheep. Some call me a cherrorist, I consider myself a teacherer.

I swear that's what i hear everytime, i can't stop laughing. Bino and Mino should sit down and have a conversation sometime. LMFAO!!!!
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 5:22 PM
And Preston and Intruder trolling as usual.

"best movie ever don't agree with me go and [frick] yourself
wb rules!!!"

I think we need another troll plunge
santoanderson - 11/29/2012, 5:24 PM
All these masks make me feel like I'm looking at Mortal Kombat artwork.
IronManisGOAT - 11/29/2012, 5:27 PM
Preston... that is a terrible video.

Full mask wouldn't have allowed a more personable villain. Seeing a large portion of his face is better. If they wanted to do the hulk version of Bane, instead of the intellectual version found in the comic series, then a full mask would have been better. Just my opinion.
JDUKE25 - 11/29/2012, 5:27 PM
The mask was fine, and worked for Nolan's version of the Batman world. I do wish Bane was a bit taller so he looked more imposing to Batman, but it was fine the way it turned out.
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 5:28 PM
And [frick] the nostalgia critic, AVGN FTW!
JokerFanHAhaHA - 11/29/2012, 5:32 PM

@ ToTheManInTheColdSweat

they look tasty. ;)
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 5:37 PM
@ToTheManInTheColdSweat You want Haterade with that?
JDUKE25 - 11/29/2012, 5:40 PM
Honestly, I don't think it's that big of a deal if his face is covered or not. He can still be this very intelligent villain, who's very menacing and a great fighter and be a personable villain with his face covered also,(Darth Vader, that dude was scary a f***). You can have flashback scenes of him in his early years training, before putting on the mask to show people what he looks like, how he grew up, and so on.
Spideyguy94 - 11/29/2012, 5:40 PM
@LEVITIKUZ and marvel72 i like your attitude guys
have a beer on me
Preston - 11/29/2012, 5:43 PM
@AmericanPsycho

A troll is somebody who says something to get people angry without stating an opinion. Having an opposing viewpoint doesn’t make a person a troll; get a clue, and stop acting like an intolerant facist.

some_text

The site doesn't need a troll plunge if what you are stating is people that don't agree with your viewpoint. If you want like-minded people, why don't you skip on over to NolanFans.

If you are allowed to adore something, people are allowed to hate it. It's what allows for a free society.

I know this is all in one ear and out the other, but you need to understand that people are entitled to different views.

And, yeah, [frick] the nostalgia critic, me, and everybody with an IQ over 75.

Awsome.
marvel72 - 11/29/2012, 5:49 PM
@ spideyguy94

why thank you,a pint of stella would go down nice right now.
TheYoungMan - 11/29/2012, 5:49 PM
Bane's comic book mask works great in a comic book, but in a movie it's really better to see the charatcer's eyes. And the design they went with is great.
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 11/29/2012, 5:50 PM
@marvel72, yes, yes they are. A little hate keeps the -ites away.

@AmericanPsycho, hells yeah. Sip on it like a boss.

TheYoungMan - 11/29/2012, 5:51 PM
Tom Hardy when he was cast as Bane, before he beefed up and got the real comtume:

Final product:

AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 5:53 PM
@Preston I call you out and call me a fascist?! I'll be right back, I'm gonna laugh all the way home.

I don't care if you hate this movie, but you freakin come on every article and cause the same bullshit over and over again. You're not stating an opinion by posting a video of someone else's view. And you call me a fascist?!

Low IQ of 75, HA!
1geekygurl - 11/29/2012, 5:53 PM
Bane's design was O.K. but Bane couldve been done better in voice, fighting skills and especially his story and death.
The Talia crap did nothing for the film but give a very unshocking twist and shouldve been dropped in a rewrite. Bane was despised by Ra's but decides to sacrifice himself to fulfill Ra's destiny? Thats a bit much when you consider that they couldve destroyed Gotham and escaped, so why decide to die?
Hardy's Bane voice kinda sounds like voicework for animation. I think he tried a bit too hard to hit it out of the park.
Spideyguy94 - 11/29/2012, 5:53 PM
@marvel72 always been more of a fosters/Budweiser guy myself, but each to their own
GuardianAngel - 11/29/2012, 5:54 PM
I like the whiter face with the dark eyes, but they probably went against it because it would be "too scary" like the Joker concept art.
Bigred20 - 11/29/2012, 5:54 PM
^^
it looks enough like tom to be real
where did you get it?
GetsugaTensho22 - 11/29/2012, 5:54 PM
Just a quick note, you're quoting the Mandarin wrong. He doesn't say "sheep", he says "SHIELD".
GUNSMITH - 11/29/2012, 5:56 PM
I LIKED THAT IT CAME ACROSS LIKE A DOG MUZZEL FOR LIKE A RABID DOG, BUT OULD HAVE PREFERRED A FULL FACE COVERING, MUCH LIKE DARTH VADER HAD THAT MYSTERY, IT MADE HIM SEEM MORE DARKER, MORE POWERFUL..
Preston - 11/29/2012, 5:57 PM
@MrFreeze89 --- You are wrong.

troll (play /ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion

In other words, saying "S#it movie" and bailing on the thread is trolling. If you attach an opinion behind the comment, it is no longer trolling.
IronManisGOAT - 11/29/2012, 5:59 PM
JDUKE : Vader is the best argument... ruins my argument.
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 11/29/2012, 5:59 PM
@TheYoungMan, that's some good stuff. Hardy packed on a shit load of muscle.
TheYoungMan - 11/29/2012, 6:00 PM
@Preston You really take the opinions of the Nostalgia Critic to heart don't you? You've mentioned him on many occasions.
Preston - 11/29/2012, 6:00 PM
@AmericanPsycho

If you have the right to adore, I have the right to do the opposite.

I really value your opinion since you seem to value everyone else’s!

some_text
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 6:06 PM
@Preston Then go ahead and do the opposite, be the minority. Now I have to go do "fascist" stuff.
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 11/29/2012, 6:09 PM
But... but Vader was disfigured, that's why he wore a mask. AND he has a badass [frick]ing voice.

Why would Bane have a full face mask on throughout the movie, there's no way mr emote-yourself Nolan would film with an expressionless character. Even Spider-man, Captain America took their masks off more time than a bitch goes topless in miami.

I love this shit:

but that wrestler's mask shit works if you change Bane's origins and disfigure his entire face, so the audience doesn't wonder why he is wearing a full face wrestler mask for no reason, he sure as hell ain't hiding his identity.
Ryan - 11/29/2012, 6:11 PM
I like the first one with the models. looks cool.
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 6:13 PM
The prototype mask looks cool if it had the metal strap like in the final product.
TheYoungMan - 11/29/2012, 6:14 PM
"Death would only end your agony... and silence your shame."

"Your punishment must be more severe."
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 6:15 PM
Oh Trudy you never cease to amaze me. Someone has to keep the peace here.

Later Intruder, let me know what next holiday account you'll be making.
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 6:16 PM
Whatever you say Trudy, you're the one who seems more butt hurt then me. Grow a sense of humor and chill.
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 6:18 PM
By the way how's the whole Nolanite causing the theater shootings theory going about? I heard Jessie Ventura wants you on his show.
TheYoungMan - 11/29/2012, 6:27 PM
HalloweenJack kinda reminds me of the Joker. Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order and everything becomes... chaos.
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 6:28 PM
@Trudy, that's because I'm defending a Batman film, not a Nolan film. Unlike you and everyone else, I don't care about Nolan, if JJ Adams or any other director did this movie, I would still defend it because its a Batman film. Get it straight amigo. You do the same thing only on the other side Mr. White Knight.
AmericanPsychoWolf - 11/29/2012, 6:33 PM
Well at least you won't have to deal with us next month since we're all gonna die.....TIME TO BRING OUT THE DRINKS!!!
Supes17 - 11/29/2012, 6:39 PM
"Even Spider-man, Captain America took their masks off more time than a bitch goes topless in miami"
