CBM Photoplasty CONTEST Winners: The Most Trivial Use Of Superpowers

CBM's inaugural photoplasty contest required contestants to manipulate photos which capture the most trivial use of superpowers. Check out the top five entries. Note, the fifth place entry doesn't fit the "trivial" criteria, but was too clever to leave out.

Still, some funny stuff here. Personally I liked the Magento and Uri Geller one best, but what the heck.

RacerREX - Congrats. As for another one of these, it's really based on the interest from the CBM community. So if you want more of these it requires people demanding it.

Yes, number five is great, but catching a predator with your superpowers wouldn't be considered trivial. But it is an honorable mention for being so damn clever.

I was gone for a week for work and knew not of this contest till it was over.
I may sound a little high-flown here, but I like to think I can win at this thing. Going to college for Graphic Communications has taught me quite a few things over the years...

the shazam one by far is the funniest. it should have won. as someone else pointed out cyclops blasts are concussive and heatless.

i liked #5 and #1. #5 for just being clever, #1 for being so obvious but so simple that it got a chuckle outta me nonetheless. plus, there's also the fact that my vision's blurry right now and i misread 'fcuking' as 'fookin' and my mind instantly read it with an accent.

I'm betting over half if not all of the complainers on here don't even understand the "tossed salad" reference in my submission. Because if they did they would think it was clever and funny. Do a Google search if you don't get it.

And if you did get it and think you can do better, well then step up to the plate and show us all how good your material is when the next contest rolls around.

With all these "experts" on comedy and Photoshop, the next contest should be jam-packed with hilarious, laugh-out-loud, clever, well-done submissions. I can't wait!
