JACK THE GIANT SLAYER tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend--and gets the chance to become a legend himself. LANDS IN THEATERS MARCH 1ST!

i've enjoyed most of Singers movies. Unusual Suspects is a masterpiece but this movie doesn't look so good to be perfectly honest.

Based solely on the visual effects this looks horrendous. Look what LOTR did in 2001. Theres no excuses. So many convincing effects since then, this in the year 2013 is pathetic.

They should change the name of the movie to "Giant fake-looking CGI heads." I mean, they got the details right (nice skin bump, specularity, etc.) but the giants looks like cartoon characters.

I think that's what they are going for, target audience is kids and family's. More realistic, kids scare and don't wanna see it

looks like a watered down , less interesting Lord of the rings. Ian "Gandahlf" McKellen narrating doesn't help. The giants in the made for T.V. Jack and the Beanstalk were real actors made bigger using forced perspective. I'd say this movie cost ten times as much.........Giants don't look real!

For the love of God Singer, when will u learn ?? The guy would want to pray X-MEN DOFP is a stunning return to form... Coz that's what I'm praying for !

They're very detailed, but look fake as hell.
