ILM's VFX Breakdown Videos For Peter Berg's Razzie-Nominated BATTLESHIP
There were many, many things wrong with Peter Berg's Battleship, but the visual effects were not an issue at all, as you can see in Industrial Light and Magic's two visual effects breakdown videos.
Battleship has been nominated in six categories - and twice in one of them - of the 33rd Annual Golden Raspberry Awards, or better known as the Razzies. They are competing for Worst Picture, Worst Director (Peter Berg), Worst Supporting Actress (Brooklyn Decker & Rihanna), Worst Supporting Actor (Liam Neeson), Worst Screen Ensemble, and finally, Worst Screenplay. That's pretty bad, but not as terrible as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 which earned a whopping 11 nominations, one in each category - twice in one of them.
