G.I. JOE: RETALIATION: New Character Profile Videos For Lady Jaye, Flint & Duke

Hit the jump to check out three character profile videos that feature Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki), Flint (D.J. Cotrona), and Channing Tatum's Duke. Although they are brief, they do feature snippets of fresh footage from Jon Chu's action-packed film, G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy, Cobra, they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu, and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe® characters. March 29th, 2013!

Flint and Lady Jaye were my favorite characters in the cartoon series. They were like Han Solo and Princess Leia.

I was realy annoyed that they didn't even have speaking parts in the animated film GIJoe: The Movie. If I recall correctly, their big featured shot was of Jaye tripping and falling, and Flint picking her up.

I like the profile reference to the toys.

But I hope all these three die horribly. Make room for even more Snake-Eyes, Scarlett, Destro and dreadnocks.

Not sure about the casting for Flint, lil too purdy if ya ask me... And where's the damn beret? lol

Whatever, this Cobra Commander alone makes this movie a fraggin win!!

i bet u guys Marvel Studio going to cast some actors who starred in this G.I. Joe: Retaliation movie to star in their future Marvel movies.

i already know Ray Stevenson in a marvel movie already. but remember the first GI Joe movie had Christopher Eccleston and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and both now casted in Thor The Dark World :P

weird. for a movie that seems VERY focused on getting details of the toys and cartoon right; no beret for Flint? hunh, I don't get that.

The part where Duke tackles the soldier seems to be at the end so I'm guessing he doesn't die.

Flint has always been my favorite Joe since the 80s. Hope they do him justice in this one, since I wasn't already happy with the fact that he might be taking orders from Roadblock.

This movie also needs Beachhead! But I guess there's already too many characters with masks...

Can somebody say why Flint was cool. Or what he did that was cool? Is it the missing beret? I don't get it. Seemed like a Duke ripoff. And there wasn't even anything interesting about Duke.

Flint over Snake-Eyes? That makes me really curious.

I say why not make these characters like their comic book counterparts. After all, the first movie was a dismal failure. Why not try something different--something that might actually be good.

I didn't expect her for Lady Jaye, but she'll do (always pictured Kate Moss in her Matrix days as the brassy Lady J). When I first heard of her being in Retaliation, I kinda thought she'd be Cover Girl, but I'll still watch it anyway.

Ray Stevenson was in 3 Marvel films. Punisher and both Thor films. He is the fat one of the Warriors Three

I remember reading an old Wizard Toyfare and there was a character profile for Flint and it said something like "Embarassing Secret- Flint outranks Duke but doesn't have the heart to tell Duke." Haha I miss Wizard and Toyfare...:(

Flint was badass in the cartoons & comics..in fact he's of higher rank than Duke.
He's a tactical commander & Rhodes Scholar,much smarter than Duke who is all brawn over brains..like Channing!

Plus,Flint nails Lady J on a regular basis. Duke never got female Joes..Snake Eyes was the "true" love interest for Scarlet in the comics,the best source for Joe history.
