I thought it said Kara and nearly had a heart attack. But Connie as Lara would be great! I remember her from Devil's Advocate. She's hot!

You know what'd be cool? If the guy is Martian Manhunter in his detective form and is assigned to find out Supermans identity. That would blow any Marvel Cinematic Universe connection out of the water.

damn both of supermans mothers are SMILFS. and Lennix could be up for the role of Ron Troupe which would be nice because they need expand Supes supporting cast a bit more show other reporters like Lombard and Cat Grant maybe.and Please for the love of god use the begining of Birthright with Clark being a reporter and being in a conflict zone and use Byrnes Man Of Steel take on clark kent best take on Clark Kent I have seen,

Finally some news on Superman. I'm glad they are going with younger parents for Clark. It never made sense to me to have baby Clark's biological parents be around 50 years old, so this is a good move.

As for Harry Lennix, he would make a really cool Martian Manhunter. That would be a great tie in to the Justice League film. It actually would make sense to introduce him in this film since they're trying to get the JL film out in 2 years.

Unless he's playing one of Zod's big, scary henchmen. They already casted a Faora, now they just need a Non.

someone mentioned gruffudd as Jor-El in that FF topic. i think a kid by Neilsen and Gruffudd would look like Cavill. He'd be my choice as well.

and + 1 on Lennix as Martian Manhunter.

Yes Jon Hamm would be cool as Jor-El, i can see a resemblance between him and Cavill. and People need relax stop jumping to conclusions. Although I can see Lenix as Martian Manhunter which would be cool but I am pretty sure WB said that superman would be in his own universe like Nolans Batman

what's with all the gladiator leads playing supes' parents here?? indeed..it's ironic that snyder keep casting the really hot, good looking actresses for supes' moms, yet he cast the least attractive of the four female cast as supes' love interest...

yeah, sure adams is arguably the most talented one of the bunch, but, unless she TOTALLY works out and just transforms herself into the Lois Lane role, i just won't buy her as the character, no matter how GREAT her acting is.

strictly bout connie, though...in her case, i really don't mind they cast a younger actress in the role, since, Lara IS supposed to be a young kryptonian mom with baby Kal-El. in diane lane's case as the earth adopted mom, though, they should've cast an older actress, since she would spend much of the screen time as an older mom, with clark growing up into superman. thus, diane lane is just HORRIBLE casting choice. she, like adams as lois lane, i just won't buy her in the role of martha, no matter how good her performance is.

I agree with Hellsing and thought it would be Ron Troupe right away. The way Batman Begins started with a great supporting cast is how I believe this movie will. Focusing on a great story. I am afraid of finding out tomorrow night that this is where Green Lantern fell short of.

I think Henry Cavill's interpretation of Clark, won't be that of before like Christopher Reeve or Brandon Routh, but more of Dean Cain's Clark Kent interpretation. No goofy Clark this time.
