Watching it is completely different than enjoying it, or even thinking it is good. Without him, I don't think it'll be good or nearly insane. Just another money-grubbing idea that won't work out. But I'm afraid to say I'm still going to watch it. After all, that is what the question is asking

You know, at this point, because Murray's been such an absolute JERK about the whole thing, I WOULDN'T go see it if he was in it. Yes, I thought he was hilarious in the other two and the first is one of my all time faves, but I consider it a slap in the face to all the Ghostbusters fans out there that he couldn't at least do a cameo. Maybe he can make time for Garfield 3 in his busy schedule

One monkey dont stop no show hell most younger people could care less its a Ghostbuster movie lets get this out the way so we can reboot lol

Considering how different a movie with older Ghostbusters would probably be, I'm not sure Murray not being in this would make as big a difference as we think it would.

We don't need to hear anymore about this crap! All the movie would be is just another CGI 3-D flick. Let me lay out Ghostbusters 3 for you. Movie starts with Ramis and Ackroyd going on about feeling old. Then Ramis finds out some supernatural stuff is happening. Cut to Murray, he's waking up in his home, goin on about being old. He has kids that resent him for being a GB and think he's a hack. Ramis contacts Murray about supernatural stuff. Murray don't care. Supernatural stuff then gets worse and Murrays wife and kids are captured by supernatural forces. Murray gets his gear on. Ghostbusters are reunited. (Insert updated GB song) We get a rehash of GB #1, where they become media darlings. GB's find way to go to baddies realm to rescue Murrays kids and stop some cataclysmic event from happening. (Insert Murray jokes) Big fight ensues. Kids see Murray (Insert: DAD!!!) Ghostbusters fight baddies and everything looks good, then fight tilts in baddies favor. (Insert new variation of "crossing the streams") Ghostbusters tell each other its been a pleasure to work with each other! Then, Ghostbusters beat baddies but Murray appears to be dead. Wife and Kids and Ghostbusters are sad...but wait...he's alive! Kids give DAD a hug. (Insert Im too old for the shit joke!) Murray and his family are in a group hug. Now his kids think he's it. And they even want to be Ghostbusters! (Yay!) Ackroyd and Ramis make joke about Ghostbusters always need a Veickman. Ghostbusters and city celebrate! (Insert new Ghostbusters song sung by a current hot artist. Have current and old celebs sing along during credits!
So thats pretty much the kind of predictable and meaningless movie we would see.

Those four guys are the ghostbusters. You can bring in a new young cast but the originals will always be that.

thedude2936 - 2/29/2012, 2:05 PM
yeah, kinda figured Bill wouldn't do it. Anywho, I'd probably give a remake a chance if they went that way.

Murray wasn't the film it was all the cast but if they can't get him then maybe they should think about a reboot that seems to be the thing hell worked for star trek, batman and james bond.
