This was so boring I thought TIME stopped and as it did I wanted to rip my eyes out...You guys are tools if you think this looks exciting....After The Avengers...I can do without a Batman....Especially one who gets beat up by woosey Bane..with a british accent...Who starts a trailer out with Silence?...I'd rather go back and watch Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance than watch that trailer again....WEAK :/

humm as a huge batman fan and a big fan of the films i have to say that was just meh. i dunno if the avengers spoiled me with a true to form comic film or what but that jst didn't seem very good to me.

Look, I'm not a Batman fan granted, but the 1st 2 films had an epic feel to them. These trailers are leaving me me...blah.

Also, I don't think Nolan cut the trailer. Any director with a lick of cinematic vision would have made something better.

Sorry...Avengers is gonna leave this far behind.

i doubt that this movie willl be bad it looks like is going to be very good..but its not going to be ripping off heads exciting like avengers is,..i mean if bane was bigger stronger and badder,.. this trailer wouldve been the shiitalong with the movie.. SORRY TO SAY THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN 2ND TRAILER WAS MORE EXCITING

Looks like its gonna be well acted and tell a good story. But it also looks like we might see Batman for about 15 minutes in this thing and has the potential to be a bit boring. Only time will tell... Meanwhile, I'm 3 days away from seeing THAT OTHER MOVIE...

Like I said, the Avengers is a great movie. Fun, action packed, funny, exciting, very cool effects, great actors, perfect for getting your popcorn and having a great time, but TDKR will be pure cinematographic brilliance.

It looks okay so far. No where near as exciting looking as the avengers, but it's just the trailer so....I'm not judging till I see more and eventually the movie.

This was amazing. for all the people who says it sucks. You have no taste what so ever. Dont go see it then which you will. You know you cant residences it so shut up. Its always the Marvel fans if your so prised on the avengers stay with them. Dont come see the best movie. IDC go F yourselfs. And the worst fans award goes to Marvel.

Anyone who's saying this didn't get them excited is just lying to themselves. It's truly laughable. This trailer was spine chilling. The only chilling thing about avengers trailer was seeing the hulk on screen smashing sh*t to pieces, while this on the other hand had every scene that was gripping.

This looks much better than the last trailer. Cant wait to see how it turns out. Is it me or does it seem as if Joseph Gordon Levitt knows all about batman when he asks Catwoman if he is alive? Maybe since its 8 years later he IS Grayson. THAT WOULD BE SICK!!!!!!!!!!
Still hate the batwing though. And the trailer isnt as good as Avengers.
Either way AWESOME SUMMER ahead

The thing I like about these batman movies is I feel like bruce wayne is a real dude and that he is in real peril with the avengers they are sick as [frick] but I dont get a sense of danger or peril for them, what I mean to say is i am not worried for the avengers, they got this. But batman, I am worried about him and that makes the stakes higher and adds to this story. I cant wait to see it.

Not really feeling it, sorry. Chilling it might be but I expected something more... exciting.

The only reason I'm atually looking forward to it is seeing Joseph Gordon-Levitt on the big screen again.

I understand why many of you consider Nolan a "God", he is a great director and has proven himself time and again. Though I have to say, as a long time Batman and DC fan I do not think this movie will be as epic as the Avengers or even the Dark Knight based on the footage I've seen and the information I've read about the film.

The Dark Knight was a fantastic film because it brought characters that almost everyone already knew and presented them in a darker tone to where they could be seen in a realistic fashion. And the unfortunate passing of Heath Ledger did cause the movie to be looked at more closely from a wider audience and become more valuable.

I do believe that the Dark Knight Rises doesn't look anything special except for the fact that it is presenting bane in a way that has never been done before, and it is the "conclusion" of the series (until it is rebooted again in a few years)

Just like everyone, I will go see the DKR, and I can give a proper opinion but like most true Nerds this year is all about the Avengers.

It was brilliant! The slow build up to that sense of despair and chaos! Just like the movie will be, but even more intense than a trailer! I'm not judging anyone who didn't like it, but i just don't see how you could not!

This looked great! My only complain is still that 60s Catwoman suit. I wish they had given her a better, more practical look like she has been wearing for the last decade. Maybe someday...But otherwise this looks awesome. Hathaway felt like Selina Kyle, Bane was bad-ass and John Blake seemed like an interresting character too.

i voted Meh It could've of been better, it also could've been worse.

some of the shots in the trailer were good,i.e the bridge blowing up,the bat craft flying around but pretty much the rest seemed boring.

I still can't believe that everyone is talking like the Avengers is supposed to be this break-through comic book movie. It doesn't really look like it to me, I think it'll be fun but it won't be Iron Man and it definately won't be any of the Batman movies. But it will be a fun, summer, popcorn flick.

The misconception about Batman is that this is a comic book movie...NO...it is a movie very loosely based on comic book characters. If you watch the Dark Knight, does it feel like a comic book movie? No, it's not supposed to, it feels more like a crime drama, only you have a guy who dresses up as a bat and another who dresses as a clown. Anyways, I think if people start watching it for what it is, then they may appreciate it more.

Avengers, well since im overseas i saw it and i have a few things for you...it is better than any other Marvel property released so far by far forget Iron Man 1,2 or Thor or Captain America but it dissapointed me in the sense that i knew where it is going all the way every last piece..intro of movie is pretty boring - Loki was boring as a villain and the alien race is mega CGI. I think that TDKR will be better than all of the movies in the comic book world so far, maybe even TDK. It is cool to see The Avengers but come on a GOD teams up with RDJR and a green rage monster how is that a plot that i can say "this is the best movie ever" LOL be serious. Marvel fans sorry but u may have a very big box office hit and make another bunch of Thor's, Cap's, Iron man's and Avengers but u neva gonna have that Nolan style of movie where it goes outside of the genre and makes a new piece of cinema...how many people are doing Loky impressions O how many the Joker from TDK- at one point everyone!!

Sorry the Avengers looks like a Michael Bay flick and the last battle is pretty much Transformers 3, which we've seen already

@nerdywilliams lol Michael Bay!!! Dude that is exactly what I thought of when I saw the trailer, I swear they stole some soundbites from Transformers!! And tell me, is that last scene the only good action scene amongst a bunch of water-down character development with over saturation of "humor"? I am sure it will be a fun movie but I just got to know if my assumptions are correct.

Nolan is universal he doesnt need 2 cater 2 comicbook fans like marvel is.Nolan's audience consists of comicbook fans non comic book fans & critics alike.Therefore if The Avengers took the crown Bats gonna take it back come July betches!!!! XD

78 reveiws = 75 fresh & 3 rotten

could you please show me a michael bay film that got a score rating like that.

They are entitled to like what they want, I never said they weren't allowed and I agree Michael Bay sucks at making movies and I'm not saying the Avengers is going to suck but it's not going to wow me either. People are entitled to like what they like so therefore I am entitled to give my opinion, cause you know, there's that whole freedom of speech thing. Yes, I'm sure, as I said, the Avengers will be fun it DOES LOOK LIKE they stole footage from Transformers but that doesn't mean they did.

All I was saying is that it's going to be an explosive popcorn film...it'll ooh and aah people but the Batman films are a lot more in depth because Nolan likes to play with people's emotions and tug on their heart strings. I just wish that Marvel Studios would have kept things like the first Ironman but whatever, I'm still enjoying the ride.

As far as your tomatoes go, I don't base what I like off of critic scores, Thor had this awesome rating and it was huge disappointment to everyone I talked to. Then there was John Carter who everyone said was awesome before its release date then it does release and it's one of the biggest Disney flops out there (I like it though). Nothing about reviews impresses me. I also am not impressed by box-office. I like what I like cause I like it, I didn't attack anyone in this forum. I was just stating my opinion...

If you do want to compare tomatoes though (sounds dirty) then here's some awesome facts: Batman Begins had a 85% Tomatometer and 90% Audience approval. The Dark Knight had a 94% Tomatoemeter and 96% Audience approval.

6/10 stars.

I like the sweeping scenes of the bridges falling and stadiums collapsing. Soundtrack is good.

Seems to miss the "wow" factor of TDK. Still not sold on what's-her-face as Catwoman.

I still cringe at Bale's Batman...every time he is on screen. Looking forward to not having to look at his miscasting after this is over.

I'm pretty sure I'll check it out in the theater. If not, should be a fun rental.
