When I saw the new Action Comics #1 coming up in September my first thought was, "Good pose, but horrible outfit." I'm sure the costume it a sorta metaphor for Superman's double identity, but I think with a few simple corrections the cover can make the same statement but look better than jeans, a t-shirt, and a cape.

Here's my quick sketch of Action Comics #1 that took maybe 10 minutes.

I didn't try to hard on this, but let me know what you think in the "thinking place."

Thanks.

The cape made the new one look unprofessional.

This is really good.
