I am not a big horror fan unless it is Sci-Fi Horror, but maybe I will give this a go.

I just caught up on this show, very good. It uses a lot of public domain characters like Dorian Gray, Mina Harker, Dr. Frankenstein, etc.. Definitely worth giving a try if you have the time.

Loving this show, even if it does have one of the many disadvantages of an ensemble show: you get a favorite character, and then get mad when there's not enough of them. The Frankenstein/Caliban story is probably my favorite, and it only got maybe 10-15 minutes in the last episode. Hopefully that gets more intertwined with the 'main' story, especially since the show was renewed for a second season.

Been watching since the beginning. Not sure if its good but it's not bad. Gonna finish out the season before I make a decision.

This show is amazing! Blood, sex, gore...what more could you ask for! And yes, Eva Green does get naked, but it's a really creepy scene :/

Also its already been picked up for a second season so seeing as they have the character of Mina Murray/Harker, I hope we get to see Dracula :D That vampire in the first episode was damn creepy!

Rainmaker should go back to watching Transformers if all he wants is SMASH! BANG! mindless entertainment.

Great show so far, glad it got renewed. Hell, it's good for me that I have a good new series to follow seeing as I'm losing both The Newsroom and True Blood...

And to answer The Beard's question, Eva Green goes fully nude in the 4th or 5th episode.


P.s. I bet Chandler is a werewolf.

I'm so glad to hear that. It's my own least favourite part of it, actually, but I'm really happy to hear it doesn't feel like it's wasting time for everyone.


I think Eva Green is a total powerhouse, and some of the Vanessa-centric episodes are mind boggling displays of her acting prowess. I got chills from the seance in episode 2, and again in episode 5. I mean holy crap.

She's gotten pretty shafted by being in explicit indie dramas and generally un-hollywoody stuff - to the point where mainstream productions barely touch her - but I suppose that's turned into a strength now that offbeat stuff is taking over TV.
