Poster For GAME OF THRONES Season 3 Revealed

We saw the teaser earlier, we'll get the full trailer later, and now we have the official poster for the third season of Game Of Thrones. So far each poster has represented the theme for the season, and this time there will be Dragons - BIG Dragons!..

Guess it's Game Of Thrones day! The season 1 poster showed Ned Stark (Sean Bean) sitting hesitantly on the Iron Throne, the next was a hand grasping the crown, and now we have a Dragon taking to the sky. This shadow would seem to suggest that Dany's hatchlings will be quite a bit larger when we meet them again this coming season.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.'

slight spoiler alert:

This may be a little bit of false advertising as the dragons are not that big by this time in the book. Honestly, I hope they do change it because I've been waiting too long for those dang dragons to grow in the books.

The most interesting part about this next season will be the Red Wedding and how ppl react to that.

My biggest hope for season 3:

Naked Daenerys.

That, and the Red Wedding, of course. Since book 3 will be spread across 2 seasons, I'm not sure if that will take place at the end of season 3, or the beginning of season 4.

I guess the battle at the wall will be at the end of season 4 (second part book 3) with the purple wedding there as well. But I really think the red wedding will be either the climax of this season or in the middle.

What I find funny is G.R.R made this great family in the Starks that it seems most people adore yet he himself doesn't seem to like them at all instead he prefers the Lanisters of all the groups of people. Personally I love all the Starks and Daenerys the best! Plus I hope in the next book we get more info about her supposed nephew.

I'm really not a fan of this. @SoSay- Exactly what I was thinking! Not correct going via the dragons sizes in the books.

1st season - Ned Stark/Iron Throne
2nd Season - Hand grasping crown
3rd Season - Silhouette of a dragon. - Think they could of done better tbh.

Cant wait for the trailer coming out tonight!
