Another BTS Pic From THE WOLVERINE

Director James Mangold has Tweeted another nice behind-the-scenes snap from the set of The Wolverine. This time he gives us a look at some destruction caused - no doubt - by Hugh Jackman's berserker mutant. Check out the "blast hole" after the jump..

I think this pic gives off a bit more of a sci-fi vibe than anything we've seen from The Wolverine previously, as all of the official images and set pics so far have reflected the Japanese flavor of the film.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.


The Wolverine hits theaters July 26th, 2013.

I just don't get what they could do to make a new Wolverine movie fresh......I like the idea of him in Japan possibly as patch,but its just going to be slice and dice as usual.Give us his uniform!

Never say never, remember that both Marvel Studios and Sony agreed to include the Oscorp Tower in New York for The Avengers, so it looks like Marvel Studios is willing to make cameos of other Marvel franchises outside of MS as long as the other studios want to.

It's either Wolverine or Silver Samurai going through the wall... or an explosion that kills everyone inside, hence the funeral?

The funeral is about an old friend of Logan whom he met in WWII and was saved by Logan, he dies of old age in the begining of the movie.

And judging how Wolverine and Silver Samurai powers don't work that way I'm guessing it was a bomb attack by some yakuza or ninjas of The Hand.

Does that blast hole contain the Wolverine suit inside? Otherwise, it's gonna be a meh film...

Well it wasn't done because of time constrains, but yeah, Fox will be probably more uneasy to the idea, but still I think it's possible.

For cryin' out loud, haven't any of you seen the previous X-Men movies.
This damage wasn't caused by Wolverine.

It was probably created when someone kicked Wolverine's ass through the wall.

In these fox movies, Wolverine can't fight worth a damn. He just takes punishment. Like a chump.

I don't care about plot, script or who's in it....the secret to a good Wolverine movie is seeing Hugh Jackman with top off and slow motion growling
