If you've never read 100 Bullets I suggest you do so, it's easily one of the best non-superhero comics of all time in my opinion. The series ended years ago, but now news from ECCC heralds its return with a mini-series called Brother Lono.

Along with Azzarello and Risso, the rest of the original team are back including colorist Trish Mulvihill, letterer Clem Robbins and cover artist Dave Johnson. You'll notice from the promo pic that the series apparently won't be published through the Vertigo brand, but DC proper.

"Following the events of 100 BULLETS, the highly acclaimed and Eisner award-winning crime series, BROTHER LONO focuses on one the baddest Minutemen in the bunch."

100 bullets is a great book with so many characters and stories. it really should be a show like The Walking Dead

There was talk of a tv show, and a movie with David Giyer writing I think. No word since though.

Goyer's got his hands on all the cool projects

NO! IT BETTER NOT BE IN THE NEW 52! It says DC in the bottom corner, not Vertigo!

I can't bring myself to buy anything with the new 52 logo on it.

Spwam Thing, Vertigo now 52. Aminal Man, Vertigo now 52. 100 bullets, vertigo now 52(maybe). Sandman Year one, just you wait, EVERYTHING WILL BE freaking NEW 52, GOD!

Karen Berger has left DC...which to many is the final nail in the Vertigo coffin. sorry boys and girls, it truly is (almost) the end of a TRULY spectacular era

And the company that gets Ms. Berger will be a force to be reckoned with...(Image and/or Dark Horse would be the best move IMO)

And as a point of interest, this new 100 BULLETS series will NOT be the New 52!, it will be published as a regular DC Comic...almost like an imprint.

It's ironic that more VERTIGO based movies have been made (V For Vendetta, A History of Violence, The Losers, Constantine, etc.) than any other DC property...yet they consider the imprint expendable...idiotic if u ask me

Yes. This is what Brian Azzarello SHOULD be doing.

NOT WONDER WOMAN.

Had it not been for this series, I more than likely would be missing out on the comic book genre as a whole. 100 bullets is the first series i ever read and it was all over from there d;-). Hearing that the original team is gonna do this is what gets me excited, other wise i'd probably take the "leave it alone" stance.

Lono is a [frick]ing BOSS! Wasn't he the only one who survived?
