THE WALKING DEAD: Andrew Lincoln And Others Discuss The Season 3 Finale

IGN caught up with Lincoln (Rick) Steven Yeun (Glen) and Robert Kirkman at this year's PaleyFest and asked them where they see their characters going, as well as what we can expect from the sure-to-be shocking season finale. "About 40 people die" jokes Lincoln - we assume!..

After this week's brilliant ep it seems like Rick may finally be able to let go of Lori and do what he has to for the good of the group. IGN ask actor Andrew Lincoln if that's the case, and if he's going to have to make a few changes to his "Rictatorship" style leadership tactics. Steven Yeun also comments on Glen's recent hardening up, and if we should expect that to continue. In addition, the showrunners talk about how the show continues to diverge from the comics, and everyone is asked about the season finale - not that much is given away of course!

I am getting tired of the zombie thing, specially this show... how come there are always fresh partly consumed bodies everywhere? IN addition: They've never turned. A zombie will devour a rat t or a horse to nothing...I guess people are just "filling?"

In addition, they've been on the road for years now, and no corpse/dead is ever consumed by naturally occurring bacteria and insects? I assume they have all but left the earth too? All organic matter would have LONG BEEN GONE.

HUGE PLOT FAIL.

@TheJester: I never got the impression that years have passed. Lori was pregnant for at least 9 months, pretty much all of Season 2, and first half of season 3. AT BEST, we're looking at a year to a year and a half.

I think the time lapse is very similar to Breaking Bad, where 5 seasons of Breaking Bad really covers a little over one year of Walter White's life.

But you raise a good point in that nothing seems to decay. When does a zombie naturally expire resulting from decay? That's probably best left unanswered.
