New Poster For M. Night Shyamalan's AFTER EARTH

Ahead of tomorrow's second trailer premiere we have a brand new one-sheet for M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming sci-fi flick. This poster features both Will and Jaden Smith, side-by-side in extreme closeup mode. There's also another new still from the movie..

In the near future, humanity was forced to abandon the planet forever after cataclysmic events, and they reestablished mankind on the planet Nova Prime, light years away from Earth, and managed to rebuild society. Earth was left in its prime state, and continued to live on its own. 1,000 years later, a crash-landing of a small ship leaves teenager Kitai Raige and his father, army General Cypher Raige stranded. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help so they can return to Nova Prime, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. The father and son must learn to work together and learn to trust one another if they want any chance of escaping Earth and returning home.


After Earth stars Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Isabelle Fuhrman, Kristofer Hivju, Gabriel Caste and Zoe Kravitz. The film is set to hit theaters June 7th.

Haters are going to do just that. I applaud the smith family and the movie. If their landing on Earth, I can't wait to see the world they come from. And Hurry with Hancock 2..=)

I think people give Jaden shit cos of who his daddy is, he's actually a pretty good actor. ..at least in anything I've seen him in (2 movies:)

This movie.. looks good, but as big a fan of his earlier movies as I am, yeah it's Shamalamadingdong at the end of the day. We'll see.

The only hope i have for this movie is that it's written by Gary Whitta(the book of eli). Let hope M.Night Shyamalan can excute his idea on this one.

people really don't like Will Smith? may I remind you that he was The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, made awesome hits like Getting Jiggy with It and the Wild Wild West theme song, and has saved the world from alien invasion 4 times!!

The twist is that they're on Earth, but way in the past. Earth goes through the same cycle every millions of years, and they are the last two before it rebirths itself.

Hope the Alien creature doesn't get killed by water this time.

Hope we don't go through the whole movie with Jaden trying to save them both, only to find out Will died in the crash at the beginning.

I really never will understand the hate on Shyamalan. He's given us some great movies. Sure some of the other ones were kind of cheesy, and two flopped completely, but he does know how to tell an awesome story, and he's especially good at understanding FAMILY.
