As season three begins, the Lannisters hold absolute dominion over King's Landing after repelling Stannis Baratheon's forces. Yet Robb Stark, King in the North, still controls much of the South as well, and has yet to lose a battle. In the Far North, Mance Rayder has united the wildlings into the largest army Westeros has ever seen. Only the Night's Watch stands between him and the Seven Kingdoms, but nobody knows what happened to its Lord Commander and the force he led beyond the Wall. Across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys Targaryen - reunited with her three growing dragons - ventures into Slaver's Bay in search of ships to take her home and allies to conquer it.

Season 3 begins March 31st with episode 21, "Valar Dohaeris".

Book readers of GOT do Dany and Jon get it on?
Hellsing - 3/15/2013, 8:55 AM
scratch that does Dany bang any one else in the book?
TheOmegaOne - 3/15/2013, 9:09 AM
No they do not(at least so far in the books) and yes she does.
nordberg - 3/15/2013, 9:10 AM
@Hellsing

No, they haven't even met. Dany has yet to set foot in Westeros and as of book 5, A Dance of Dragons, Jon is um... currently indisposed.

Cant wait to see more White Walkers and Dragons. :)

Hope Joffrey finally meets his end in this season. At least someone needs to kick his cry baby ass of the [frick]ing Iron Throne.

AlexDeLarge87...no chance of Joffrey getting his arse kicked...not in the novels anyway!

Nordberg "indisposed"..I like that! Martin better get writing, I'm going through withdrawals.
nordberg - 3/15/2013, 9:41 AM
I'm with you, Ror. Sadly, it will probably be at least another 2-3 years before we get The Winds of Winter.

I'm having a hard time resisting reading the few chapters he's released so far. I've only read the one from Theon's POV and made myself stop there.

Jon Snow, Daenerys and Tyrion are the only three reasons I care about this show. The rest is bizarre, uncomfortable, time wasting stuff.
fettastic - 3/15/2013, 9:48 AM
So she's "Brave" now?

Seriously, why Is Dany wearing so many damn clothes? What, they didn't have string bikinis back then?

Haven't seen season 2 yet, but Arya Stark kicks insane ass in the books.

@MarkV

Prepare yourself for disappointment, they've completely sanitized Arya's character...there are no words to explain my disappointment over how her escape from Harenhall was handled...
