Its like a long running fad to bitch about Jar Jar. Phantom Menace was so full of stupidity that no one element of it can be said to be the worst element. I actually hated the Neimoidians more than Jar Jar.
And I got a tremendous amount of pleasure when Nute Gunray was killed but not as much as when cry bitch Anakin burned to a crispy bitch!

I hated them more than Jar Jar.

I thought Sam was fine in the first Transformers, before they turned his character into a spoiled, whiney, loathsome douchebag.

I don't agree with Willie.

Willie wasn't too bad no. Although when you watch the movie now..she was a bit bloody annoying.

Half of them are ok/tolerable - but where is Rob Schnieder for his part in Judge Dredd, uh ?!

Oh...you had to slip the Crystal Skull in there, didn't ya? LOL Jar Jar grated on my last nerve. Thankfully, Lucas got the message in Episode II.

I loved that Robin when I was kid. I had toys of him. I didnt realize that it sucks back then. So they had some success.

Are you out of your vulcan minds?

Chris Tucker´s character on 5th Element was INTENTIONALLY annoying, and he was hilarious! Everybody remembers him, and the Diva singing. He was no accident, it´s no fun trying to demean director Luc Besson.
silverdog
silverdog - 6/28/2013, 4:37 AM
duvall and capshaw were somewhat tolerable. la douche should be twice on the list for indiana jones 4. the stereotype-bots from transformers 3 and batgirl silverstone should be in there too.
MarkCassidy
MarkCassidy - 6/28/2013, 4:43 AM
VictorHugo, no, he was supposed to annoy the other characters..he wasn't supposed to damn near give me a [frick]ing aneurysm and force me to take a sledgehammer to my television. He was only "hilarious" if you laugh at really, really, unfunny things.
VictorHugo
VictorHugo - 6/28/2013, 4:48 AM
RorMachine - okay, he wasn´t that funny, but the common folk (fat uncles, gradmas, little kids) love him, even if they find spaceships boring.
DRMidNite

Oldman and Willis were, arguably, the best parts of that film.

Sam was annoying in Transformers 3 and 2. His character was whiny.

Willie and JarJar are at the top of the list. It's funny, the last time I watched Temple of Doom I couldn't get over how relentlessly annoying Willie was.

Oh yeah....

Jolt17
Jolt17 - 6/28/2013, 5:16 AM
I'd actually put Anakin above anyone else. Sure, Jar Jar WAS annoying, but to me, nobody else had a bigger part in killing the prequel trilogy than such an annoying main protagonist like he was.

"Unintentionally"....

I don't think that word means what they think it means.

Shelly Duvall is like nails on the chalk board. Love the shining but wowza, annoying and Whiney.

Jim Carrey has some pretty annoying roles. Stiffer in American wedding was a little too much as well.

Chris Tucker was some of the best laughs of the whole movie.

Eh Ruby Rodd wasn't that bad, of course being a side character in the 5th Element is better than being the main protagonist in the prequels or Twilight.

And I actually found the older brother in War of the Worlds worse than Dakota Fanning.
SageMode
SageMode - 6/28/2013, 6:07 AM
Tucker should've been number one.

am I the only one who thinks when guys scream like girls its hilarious ?
ParisSun
ParisSun - 6/28/2013, 6:21 AM
Duvall was great in the Shining. Ruby Rodd takes some getting used to at first. He's an offence to every black male, but as the movie goes on you get the act. Easily the funniest thing in the movie. Leo Getz does get annoying in later movies.

My top two are Bella and Anakin. Some of the worst dialogue and line delivery in the history of film. I would put them above Jar Jar because they actually mattered to the movie. With Bella I would wonder why two guys with cool powers would fight over her.
ParisSun
ParisSun - 6/28/2013, 6:24 AM
@Theophilis, you are right on point. I could at least understand the screaming of a little girl but that kid was so aggravating that I wanted him dead. He acted like a self entitled brat.

I also found the Asian kid in Indiana Jones about as annoying as Capshaw's character.
jessepostal

@adamantium, its hilarious, im right with ya.
CPBuff22
CPBuff22 - 6/28/2013, 6:50 AM
Ruby Rod was intentionally loud and abnoxous to counter the serious nature of Corbin Dalas. Not only that but he is one of Chris Tucker's most recognisible characters.

Kids are almost impossible to pull off well in a film... if they're not your own kids, you have little reason to want to put up with their self-centered, whiny natures, and if they're portrayed as competent it's usually at the expense of the other characters and comes off as blatant power fantasies for other children and rather insulting to the rest of the audience.

Both of the kids in "War of the Worlds" were insufferable, and yet probably fairly accurate to how kids would behave... it doesn't mean I want to be trapped with them.

The kids in the first "Jurassic Park" were still some of the worst characters in the film, but they weren't so bad as to really hurt things. Gymnastic girl from the sequel who kicks velociraptors in the face after special forces get wiped out by them needed to be eviscerated though.

Not to start up the flames again, but I actually did enjoy the kid from Iron Man 3... They let him be competent to a point, but also smacked him down enough to let me enjoy it.
