Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher (both looking in decent shape) and many more of the principal cast of Return Of The Jedi such as Chewbacca star Peter Mayhew, Warwick Davis, Jeremy Bulloch, Ian McDiarmid and Anthony Daniels appeared at the Star Wars Celebration in Germany, 30 years after the movie's release. On the lineup are Star Wars press conferences, special screenings of Return of the Jedi and Attack of the Clones in 3D and a panel with Star Wars: Episode VII producer Kathleen Kennedy. In the video below you can hear from Fisher, Hamill and some of the others on what it's like to be reentering the Galaxy far far away and why they think the love of Star Wars has endured for so long.

This reminds me how much I love this Star Wars universe.
I'll be happy to see Mark in ep. 7, just to see him as Luke Skywalker is going to be a big "wow-factor".

Also it'll probably be a massive box office succes.
IDKwhatToChoose - 7/26/2013, 4:05 AM
So glad they are bringing the original cast back. I can't wait for episode 7
Lenbert - 7/26/2013, 4:09 AM
Nice little interview with some of the cast, but who ever edited the video should be shot!
SuperDude001 - 7/26/2013, 4:24 AM
Mark Hamill is finally looking healthy again, like I know he had his accident, but before Ep VII was announced he was putting on a lot of weight so it's good to see he's eased a bit on it.
Anyhow this is pretty awesome to see them together, given all the rumoured problems they had on set.
ManDeth - 7/26/2013, 4:33 AM
Fisher is looking better. Hamill looks the same to me in the video. Hes about 240lbs I think but I cant see his waist. His face shows no sign of weight loss.

ManDeth - 7/26/2013, 4:35 AM
@SuperDude001 Rumored problems on set?? Some of them got along all too well with Fisher.
siggisuperman - 7/26/2013, 4:54 AM
They all look like normal people look when they are the same age. Maybe a little better
INSTANTJUSTICE - 7/26/2013, 5:03 AM
Carrie Fisher looks like a normal person after plastic surgery.
CyberBishop - 7/26/2013, 5:14 AM
I wish I was over there... Damn this would be a kick ass celebration to attend.
sarahsatire - 7/26/2013, 5:27 AM
I LOVE MARK HAMILL.
GetsugaTensho22 - 7/26/2013, 6:04 AM
I Thought Peter Mayhew was dead 0_0
Anyway, this is great!
charlie2094 - 7/26/2013, 6:07 AM
Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher both look the healthiest they've looked in ages. Given how long there's still to go before production begins, great to see they're very much preparing for getting back into the universe. Truly incredible, like they said, that Star Wars continues to grow and remains popular, despite not having movies.
SpectacularJoShFest - 7/26/2013, 6:08 AM
It's funny how Mark Hamill DID end up looking like Sebastian Shaw, the guy who played unmasked Darth Vader.
yingyangpalms - 7/26/2013, 6:14 AM
@SpectacularJoShFest Hamill reminds me of old Burt Ward.
soda9 - 7/26/2013, 6:21 AM
Tomorrow is going to be a great day to be a Star Wars fan with some announcement with Episode VII and all. Everybody looks good!
soda9 - 7/26/2013, 6:24 AM
Yeah Mark has definitely slimmed down.
RedeemerOfSouls - 7/26/2013, 6:27 AM
They need to hire new trainers or call this off. I saw pics of Hamill at SDCC and he's got like a 60" waist. Hes not losing weight.
Fisher looks like her weight has shot up to maybe 150. Hamill is between 250-275.

Don't want to see Ford, Fisher or Hamill play those parts now and not just because of weight.

Why bring them back just to show the characters old and then kill them off? That just screws over the Originals even more.
Matchow - 7/26/2013, 6:45 AM
A 60" waist!!!!!!???????? Damn!
MarkV - 7/26/2013, 8:14 AM
Mark Hamill looks about 20 lb lighter to me.
Swiftsword777 - 7/26/2013, 8:18 AM
They could still use about a good 10-15 pounds lost.
TheSensationalSpiderman - 7/26/2013, 11:54 AM
You guys are so horrible. They look good for there age.
SimyJo - 7/26/2013, 12:34 PM
Good to see Peter Mayhew got through German customs ok with his lightsaber walking-cane.
I guess the German custom authorities aren't as moronic as their American counterparts.
ProfOJ - 7/26/2013, 1:50 PM
The picture looks like one of barnums archives! Especially the bearded woman who used to be leah!lol......just kidding this is gonna rock!...id still bone mrs fischer!
JediPhilosopher - 7/26/2013, 6:24 PM
I'm responding to the article. "Still breathing" isn't what I call decent shape, but okay :D
Simyjo, I bet he did the hand wave "You will let me pass." "We will let him pass." :D
Harrison Ford regretted he couldn't appear, but he was busy with that thing he needed to do (anything other than show up at this thing). :D
SamHell - 7/26/2013, 7:03 PM
Hell, Ian McD looks better than any of 'em
