This one seems to have split you CBMers right down the middle..or is that being a bit generous to Benny boy? Last night, right out of the blue Warner Bros. announced that Ben Affleck would take up the mantle of the Bat for Zack Snyder's Superman Vs Batman themed sequel to
Man Of Steel. Initial shock and some fanboy outrage led to "wait, he's actually a decent actor these days right?" type reactions. Affleck is undoubtedly a talented guy: a great director and a...very good actor, but Batman? Aside from any discussion on whether he's right for the role there is also the question of how big a name he is -- should Batman be such a megastar? Will people see Bruce Wayne in the suit, Batman in the costume..or just Ben Affleck? Of course that'll all depend on how well he inhabits the role. I think he'll pull it off (though I do have some reservations) but what about you guys? Vote below and then sound off in the usual place.
