Extended version will be great. Gina wait for the box set though of all 3. Get high, super high and just sit.

@riseofLOGANX36:

Annoying but true - always wait for the extended version with LOTR films.
Whats even more annoying is that with 90% of extended versions - they just lump them onto the deleted scenes and not re-thread them into the narrative of the movie.

I really want Thor:The Dark World to be remastered on the blu-ray release as the original running time before Marvel got its claws into the film and slashed it about to fit as a theatrical-cut. Won't get it though, extras will be just thrown in with the deleted scenes.

Why did they even bother to film this scene

Saw the extended edition a couple days ago. They didn't add much, but what they did add was amazing. They kind of show how dickish the Dwarves were to the Elves before Smaug attacked them. They showed a lot more of Bilbo in Rivendell, which was fantastic. Lord Elrond got some great scenes. Unfortunately, there wasn't any more Gollum.
