Really good. Personally, I think Return of the Jedi would of been a masterpiece if Lucas [frick]ed off and let the writers do their thing.

The prequels have excellent stories but terrible execution. Although I'm no big Star Wars fan, in the originals it said how Anakin was a hell of a guy and Obi's great friend and student who gradually fell to the Dark Side over time and his transformation a shock. In the prequels they have Anakin be an evil, despicable dickbag from the beginning of Clones.

Like Sam's Channel said, one minute he's Anakin the selfless hero, the next a genocidal murder, the next a treacherous student who hates Obi-Wan, then a loyal student that loves his master Obi-Wan, the next a perverted freak, etc, etc.

marvel72 - 1/16/2014, 11:30 AM
very nice,that empire print is lovely.
BatManiac - 1/16/2014, 11:32 AM
I like the prequels. I think the point is that Anakin had issues. Obi-Wan gave a brief description of who Anakin was, plus the Anakin Obi-Wan knew for the most part was the guy he describe, he just happened to be more. I think it was great how they showed Anakin's journey to the darkside.

Anakin didn't follow the Jedi Code. If he had, he wouldn't of fell to the darkside but he didn't. I don't think it was in his nature to let go of his feelings, so in a way, he isn't the only one to blame, since the Jedi's poor judgement on Anakin could have prevented it all.
marvel72 - 1/16/2014, 11:38 AM
seeing anakin become vader then padmine name the children at the end of revenge of the sith,makes that classic scene in empire when vader announces to luke "no,i'm your father" pointless.

it takes all the power out of the scene because the audiences already knows the outcome.

if you watch the films in order.
Spidey10 - 1/16/2014, 11:42 AM
I think what gets lost is that Anakin was too old for Jedi training so his emotions were already set in place...its hard to let go of your emotions when youve experienced them all already...they took a risk bringing him in for training when they did...in the prequels they were very specific about taking him but they felt his potential for good was too great
BatManiac - 1/16/2014, 11:49 AM
@Marvel72

I don't think the movies are meant to be watched in order, hence why they weren't released in chronological order. If you watch the original trilogy and then the prequel trilogy, there is a sense of gratification in seeing Padme give birth the Luke and Leia.

I see it like this. If you loved what you saw in the original trilogy and you want to know how it all came to be, watch the prequel trilogy.
Bluestreak - 1/16/2014, 11:56 AM
Of all the things to choose from ANH he chooses the sandcrawler?
BatManiac - 1/16/2014, 11:58 AM
@Spidey10

I disagree. While it may be true that his age played a factor of him being set in his ways, I don't believe its directly responsible for him holding onto his feelings. I feel that part of him is just who he is and nothing was going to change that. I think its something that runs in his family and in a way, makes the Skywalker's so special. Neither Luke or Anakin are you average Jedi and both of them hold onto their feelings. Luke just had a good grasp on controlling his feelings and where as Anakin didn't.

Think of both the final battles in both trilogies. In the original, Luke channeled his feelings to defeat Vader but when the time come, he managed to get a control of them to do what he thought was right without letting his feelings cloud his final judgment. Anakin on the other hand his hate get in the way of his judgement, which lead to Obi-Wan defeating him on Mustafar.

Anakin's potential for good was great and he fulfilled the prophecy by destroying the Sith when he killed Palpatine, but the cost was miscalculated by the Jedi.

I like vaders cape positions matching his presence in the dark side.
charlie2094 - 1/16/2014, 12:05 PM
Those are awesome designs!
KindredMac - 1/16/2014, 12:17 PM
Seems a tad pricey personally but to each their own.
TheMexicanSuperman - 1/16/2014, 12:18 PM
Great artwork. I love all six Starwars films equally. Starwars Episode 7 is my most anticipated film of 2015.
BackwardGalaxy - 1/16/2014, 12:44 PM
Those are f'ing gorgeous.
gaikinger - 1/16/2014, 1:11 PM
i'll take the one from Star Wars
nikgrid - 1/16/2014, 1:29 PM
Those are great, but personally they should revolve around the central battles of the battles.
ibravosp5 - 1/16/2014, 1:29 PM
Goodness these are gorgeous....man if ewoks were replaced in episode 6 with rebels I would have preferred it more
Joementum - 1/16/2014, 1:37 PM
As big a Star Wars fan as I am, I actually do not like the compositions.
Klone - 1/16/2014, 1:38 PM
@beto

I think the prequel villains were cool in the concepts:

Darth Maul: Very cool but underused, underdeveloped and blah.

Count Dooku: Cool, but underdeveloped. However, Christopher Lee's performance makes me forgive everything.

Grevious: He sucked in the film if you ask me but in the cartoon from 2003 he was awesome. He rarely spoke but when he did his dialogue was smarter and cooler than "BLAH! JEDI SCUM! I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME OBI-WAN!" *shakes fist in anger*
Klone - 1/16/2014, 1:40 PM
However, the Jedi in the prequels sucked completely. So stupid. They were even told in Attack of the Clones that the Senator was an evil usurper and the discovery of the unauthorized Clone army confirmed a conspiracy was but in place against the Senate... and they walk right into it by having an army of sleeper agents on their side lol.
Klone - 1/16/2014, 1:43 PM
@Batmaniac

Anakin came across as a hateable shit in Clones though. What's funny is that in Attack of the Clones, he slaughters an entire village of Sandpeople men, women and children. He kills them all. Men, women and children. In Revenge, he kills more innocent men, women and children and it's made a big deal of. Ah well. From the descriptions I've read of books based on the prequels, they sound better. They give a legitimate reason as to why he starts descending down the Dark Side and even why he killed Dooku. It links in with a Sandperson.
ds9epicfan - 1/16/2014, 1:51 PM
They all look great.Empire Strikes Back will always be one of the all time great movies!
Joementum - 1/16/2014, 1:57 PM
Lucas' digital Sandcrawler

Melkaticox - 1/16/2014, 3:28 PM
@beto Who knows. If Thrawn ends up being the villain of the first one, I think the final battle will be between Luke, Jeniffer Lawr-- uh, Jaina and Thrawn.
One can only hope...
NeoBaggins - 1/16/2014, 6:05 PM
Troopers on Dewbacks actually fits the theme better, but I guess they needed the element of machinary with the SandCrawler. Awesome nonetheless.
GetsugaTensho22 - 1/16/2014, 9:11 PM
Star Wars is beginning to get over-rated as [frick].
mgeoff88 - 1/16/2014, 9:36 PM
These are great! On the ROTJ poster, it looks like Darth Vader is struggling in the lightsaber battle, while Luke Skywalker is standing strong.

That's nice foreshadowing.
InBrightestDay1 - 1/16/2014, 10:15 PM
These posters are cool, but I would have used the Jedi symbol instead of the rebel symbol again. After all it is "Return Of The Jedi".
