The Flash Movie still has Legs!

Screenwriter is saying that the movie is going forward....
The Collider has this fantastic zippy info coming from the mouth/email of the Scarlet Speedster's Screenwriter, Dan Mazeau:


“Just to chime in on your latest article: The Flash has not been hobbled. Everything is moving forward as planned,” Mazeau explained. “I’m still writing the script. Geoff Johns is still consulting. Flash fans have no cause for concern, and — IMO — lots to be excited about.”

Rejoice! Rejoice! I for one says its high time that Flash flashes himself in the big screen. Having one of the greatest comicbook writers tagging along, Geoff Johns, make it just much sweeter.

For the fastest man alive, your movie is taking so long to be made... WB what's the hold up!

Production won't start till GL does well at the box office. Here's hoping

I believe they need to start with Barry Allen first and just have Wally as a kid like they did in the TV show

I hope to see this right on the coat tails of Green Lantern. Barry or Wally would be fine as both are kick ass Flashes.

NO Chris Pine.... geez! he is good and all but he looks down syndromish... i dont wanna be a jerk , i am , i know.... but Pine doesn't even fit the style of body the flash has. I really hope this movie gets made fast and that there is a Wonder Woman Cameo in it... I just love seeing those two on scene together. weird huh.

They need to start with Barry Allen since they went with Hal Jordan. I say Matthew Fox for Barry Allen. I remember watching him as Racer X and thinking "my god, that's freakin' Barry Allen"!!!

I'm just wondering if this actually means anything. A lot of scripts are written, and very few get off the ground. And if everything is going as planned, what was the plan? I must have missed it...

@ Shaman- I can see where u are going with it... Your right they should go Barry Allen and then bring in Wally West for Justice league kindof deal .... Matthew Fox can pull it off for Barry Allen

@ Superdog - Don't be so Pessimistic... Lets for now give them the benefit of doubt and then if they don't have any news within a couple of months then we can see horse shit galore
