Superman/Batman 2 is in the works

The World's Finest is up for a second serving.
With great reviews on the animated movie Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. It seems like DC animation is considering their first sequel to their direct-to-home animated movie slate.

The planned sequel for Superman/Batman most likely will take from Jeph Loeb's series, or other writers from the subsequent stories. Though it is also possible to get from older team-ups considering these two have been doing this for about 7 decades already.

So the problem is not lack of stories but how to choose one. I tip my hat to DC in adapting some of their famous storyline into these animated movies, it helps introduce in a new generation of FANBOYS!

I love the chemistry between batman and superman. Worlds Finest was a very cool movie. Haven't seen public enemies yet, but I'm already psyched for a sequel

If they can make an animated feature that has at least a fraction of Michael Turner's style and sharpness it would be an awesome feature indead. Plus I would love to see Batman punch Darkseid.

cbsmitty2 - 10/19/2009, 7:03 AM
IF ITS CALLED "PUBLIC ENEMIES 2" THEN IT WILL CONTINUE LOEB'S RUN ON S/B AND BE ANOTHER PART OF HIS STORY
dellamorte1872 - 10/19/2009, 8:05 AM
Loeb/McGuinness for Superman/Batman!
BmanHall - 10/19/2009, 8:49 AM
they wont call it public enemies 2. it will be batman/superman something or other. supergirl is probably the closest direct sequel. but the absolute power book would make the coolest movie
superdog - 10/19/2009, 9:04 AM
The Supergirl story would make an excellent follow-up.
DawnWarrior - 10/19/2009, 10:06 AM
Dude why dont they just make a movie of them in real life already
(some people are sick of being a kid and watching cartoons)
skmaster - 10/19/2009, 11:34 AM
skmaster@ why would you ever get sick of being a kid? thats crazy talk :) they will never make this a live action. budget prohibitive and too many legal factors. this is all we will get for now so enjoy it.
superdog - 10/19/2009, 11:49 AM
skipp all the shit and make a worlds finest movie

bizarro - 10/19/2009, 4:52 PM
ACCESS @ Lmao!! ; D
LEEE777 - 10/19/2009, 6:39 PM
Ok... no Supergirl PLEASE!!! We dont need one of DC;s animated movies ruined like they've ruined Marvel's animation. DC's animated movies are supreme compared to Marvel's. Too bad Marvel is kicking their ass at Live Action. DC still has potential. Hopefully these stupid writers and directors put that potential to good use. Dumbasses!!!
