Audio Of The Captain America Footage From SDCC

Have a listen to dulcet tones of Hugo Weaving's Red Skull, as well as the opening to the trailer......
Thanks to the boys at Spill.com, we can hear what the fans at SDCC heard while enjoying the first footage from Captain America. The audio is a little choppy at times, but its well worth listening to.

The first bit of Cap audio comes in almost straight away, then to hear the rest(including Hugo Weaving's Red Skull accent) you need to skip on to around the 14 minute mark..





So, like I said, a bit choppy but it sounds pretty cool anyway! Lets hope we get a look at the footage at some point soon. Many thanks to Starsaphire for the link.

I am really getting sick of Stan Lee getting mentioned first in regards to Cap before Joe Simon and Jack Kirby WHO CREATED CAPTAIN AMERICA WHILE STANLEY WAS STILL FETCHING THEIR COFFEE AND DRY-CLEANING!

D*MN IT! Good Find @ Ror But F*CK!!!! I'm gonna quit coming to this website, because it is so F*CKING slow!!! Sh*t! seriously takes forever to load the main F*cking page.

I like how Weaving's Red Skull is subtle and creepy. It's not just some over-dramatic silly thing. Good stuff. And they're going with the Cosmic Cube. That was something I definitely didn't expect.

They've set up or are setting up so many superheroes: Iron Man, Hulk, Cap, Thor, Hawkeye, Fury, War Machine, Black Widow, etc.

There really aren't many villains set up.

Basically Loki and Red Skull. Iron Monger is dead. The Abomination was bad ass, but not really an arch enemy type. Vanko is dead, too.

They'd better come up with some crazy, powerful villains or else it's just an overpowered team of superheroes... and when that happens, the natural inclination is to fabricate some sort of conflict between the Avengers. I just want to see powerful bad guys vs. powerful good guys, rather than focus on Tony Stark's internal struggle with leaving a legacy, or Banner feeling ashamed, etc.

@blink- We've got the Leader or something could be introduced. Also, if they're setting up the Cosmic Cube, that in and of itself is an Avengers sized threat and I'm pretty sure I saw an A.I.M. easter egg in IM2.

I was at Comic-Con. The footage was awesome. This is how I recall it.

Hugo was in full Nazi gear (pre-face melting). He knocks down a wall of a tomb. The tomb is surrounded with Nordic engravings including the tree of life (Yggdrasil).

After opening the sarcophagus, he pulls out a crystal cube. Hugo takes the cube, does a speech and throws it on the ground. (Samberg style). He then walks over the the wall with the Tree of Life. Talking the whole time, looks at the engraving, and notices a snake engraving by the tree. He pushes in the eyes of the snake, revealing a secret compartment. He removes a cube shaped box, opens it and there is a magnificent, "COSMIC" light beaming from this "CUBE" shaped box.

I listened to it for approximately 17 minutes. Couldn't listen anymore my ears were begin to ache from all the SCREAMING! Ow I think I have earache now.

Chris Evans sounds quite humble about playing Cap. He's not some cocky sod who thinks he's better than everyone else and who thinks to himself 'all right, I'm Captain Americaaaaa. I'm gonna rock and everyone ones gonna bow down to me and kiss my feet.'

You know the type of person I mean. A jerk of an actor who thinks he's now a god because he's playing a much beloved comic character.

Well that isn’t Evans for sure. To me that's a very good sign.

Regarding the suit, its like they’ve nailed it (to heaven's door).

Finally the footage sounded awesome. I heard Red Skull, but wanna know what he looks like. I knew Weaving would nail the voice. He's a top actor, it isn’t gonna be that hard for him to pull off a super duper evil German accent.

-idk if this has been adressed yet but is the cube shown in the cap footage the same as the one loki had in the thor footage?

@gambitfreak: Yeah, the site crashed today because we are so awesome the traffic was too much to take. I think they have it worked out now, though, so thanks for your patience!

@jok3rsc0usin: The cube shown looks like a cube of quartz, but Red Skull drops it and it turns out to be fake. He finds the real cube hidden in a wall, opens it and his face melts (presumably) after looking at it, a la Raiders.

@gambitfreak: He's shown, but he's human. I think they show how he turns into the Skull (see above).

@Brent, their not done with working on Cap's suit yet huh? Sweet if so, I want A much better looking one, for some reason his suit doesn't match up with IronMan's and Thor's
One more thing, does The shield make an appearance?

The bad thing about putting the cap teaser out so early is that people will treat it as if its near coming out and will want more and more, wen these guys have only just started filming practically.

People who were at the comic con wer jus fortunate enuff to see sum early stuff. I wern't ther, but I'm patient enuff to wait as long as i did for Thor. Now look at it, the trailers here!

ok people here we go again with the same problem issue about getting the proper original signature identifying look for captain america which are the wings on his head, seeing this image of him to me he looks like a bozo,he looks bald,in general he just looks plain stupid and foolish.the costume is terrible/horrific and it has to be corrected before filming begins for the avengers movie.if the director want's to change or modify the character ok but please put back the wings.
